How do they do it?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV several months ago. Delayed a review until I had spent some time with it. I set the picture using recommendations from Consumer Reports' engineers. I couldn't be happier. Rather than use the TV's speakers, I bought a Vizio sound bar. Flat TV speakers just aren't very good, since they don't have much depth to move the sound. I also sometimes use Bluetooth headphones. If you go that route, you'll need a transmitter and headphones. Be sure to get the correct codec -- aptX Low Latency. The people at Best Buy can help you with that. This is a BIG television. Measure carefully before you buy, especially if you are mounting it on a wall. I hired highly recommended people to mount it through Yelp. They did a great job.

You won't find a better deal for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying that at the time of this review, the price on this TV is $649.99. For a 65" 4K Smart-TV, I don't know that you'll find a better deal. This is my second Insigina TV. I bought a 46" 5 years ago and it still works perfectly. I've never had an issue with it. I'm not afraid to buy this brand. I don't see a reason to pay twice as much for a name like Sony, Samsung, or LG to name a few, when you're getting the same specs and quality here.

Great Insignia TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy this TV! Very suitable for my every day needs and couldn't pass up that $699 price tag for the holidays. I would personally get the Insignia soundbar with subwoofer to go with it. Gives watching TV a better experience.

Was Expecting Better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4K picture quality (where available) is not that much different than a 1080 picture. Maybe I was just expecting too much after reading all the other 5 star reviews. The ROKU interface is excellent, but not enough to justify keeping this TV. Will be returning.

Great Except for Watching Blue-Rays
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We owned all 65 inch Insignia TV's already. All with the same setup. TV, Xbox One, WII. No issues ever. Soon as we replaced one of the TV's with this new TV, we can no longer watch Blue-Rays. Just keep getting HDCM management issues from any Blue-Ray / Xbox one we plug in. Sometimes we can get lucky just putting the blue-ray in and out a zillion times. We can sometimes. unplug and replug in to one of the other HDMI slots (can round robin it). and it might work. However, we can take the old TV hook it back up and boom issues gone. We can use the same blue ray in other players, other xbox ones etc. Everything is great except this TV. completely useless, as we paid thousands of dollars for Blue-Rays from Best buy over the years (lol you should see our collection) and no we cannot watch them in our family room. A waste

Died 2 months after purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great. At 2 months, my daughter was watching it and the screen just went black. Geek Squad came out twice trying to replace parts and revive it, but it didn’t work. Exchanging it for a different brand.

Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give a lower star rating I would have, this tv has been nothing but trouble. Connect it to top of the line AV equipment and it doesn’t play nice. Try switching from Netflix to Cable/Satellite and watch what happens, half the time you’re powering off and restarting it. Our other tv’s don’t have this issue, sure, they were more money but I’d have spent it to avoid the aggravation. Once you get it going, it works fine, picture quality is fine. I’ve only had it 18 months but have wished we didn’t buy it the entire time. Next time it’s going to be a more expensive unit (trusted name brand like our others) and I’ll move this to an office tv... Think twice!!!
