Good rv but not great
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great deal for a good but not great tv. Doesn’t get bright enough for hdr to truly pop, but 4K 60 is solid.

Multiple repairs needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv in December 2017. Immediately required a WiFi board replacement. Since purchased this tv has been used maybe 15 times. Today I tried to turn it on and nothing is happening. I guess I’ll call and see how much it costs to fix. Not a fan.

Best 65" Smart TV Value Out There
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with the Insignia brand. I have owned Toshibas, Samsungs, and other big name brands. But when looking for a TV to replace a 10 year old plasma TV, I couldn't pass up the price of this TV for the size and the features. The reviews were all so good, so I took the chance after looking at other Insignia TVs in the store, and being impressed with what I saw. I think this is Best Buy's best secret--Insignia. The TV was delivered to my house by the most professional staff. On time, quick in and out, just great. It took me about 90 minutes to mount the TV on the wall. The mounting screws were provided with the TV. As an aside, I do like TVs with two base stands instead of one in the center. The TV seems more stable. Even though I am not using the base stands, I felt this was worth mentioning. Setting up the TV once it was turned on the first time took about 15 minutes. There were some software updates and then the TV looks for all the input devices you have hooked up. I will say that the Roku interface is very simple and efficient, and it takes a lot of complexity out of the remote. We still use the Amazon TV box to access Playstation Vue because the Amazon app is more powerful than the Roku app. The TV powers up and is ready to go in mere seconds. The picture was mostly calibrated correctly. I turned off the true motion because it just looks funny. There are some TVs that don't have the setting to turn this off, which is annoying if you don't like it. I also changed the picture setting to "movies" since that matches the calibration screens found on the internet the best. The picture is crisp and bright, and the 1080p upscaling is quite good--as good as or better than significantly higher priced TVs (but not as good as the really expensive TVs).. The sound coming from the TV speakers is of very good quality. There is no need for a sound bar--not unless you have this TV for a dedicated entertainment room. The volume is plenty loud, the bass is strong, and the treble is not tinny. Overall, I am very happy with this TV and would not hesitate to buy another Insignia TV in the future.

Nice TV, Great Value, Easy Setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 4 1/2 yr old 70" Vizio M Series quit suddenly and we needed a large TV right away. After some online research, chose this 65" Insignia from Best Buy because of positive reviews and the clearance pricing. Picture is great and it was easy to setup. Using the TV with a roof mounted antenna for local HD channels and also streaming Hulu and Amazon. Using the Roku interface and remote is very straightforward. Can't speak to long-term reliability, but other reviewers seemed to have good experiences with Insignia. Very happy thus far.

Just WOW
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like others, I had the 55" LCD Insignia and was super happy with it, I just wanted to go bigger. I also have an older 32" 1080p LED Insignia, which has been a champ. The Insignia line has earned my trust, as I have other components such as Blue Ray players and wireless Bluetooth speakers in which I have had zero problems with. So anyway, my wife said I didn't need the 65", so that made me want it even more. Didn't take much to install as I just used the same mount I used with the 55" and hung it on the wall. Turned it on and my wife immediately said wow. The color was amazing. After I got everything set up and hooked it to my receiver for surround sound, the picture was fantastic. No lag and just beautiful. Now, I haven't listened to the speakers, as I turned them off because of the surround sound, so I can't testify to that. Others say its good. So, as much as I loved the picture on my 55", it actually got better on this 65" (Well, duh, it's 4K and UHD). Loving this tv so far. Now granted, this review is not about the longevity of the tv, but if it is anything like my other two, it should be around for a long time, because I'm not planning to upgrade for awhile. Don't think the wife will let me. Oh, and the sale price tag was pretty awesome as well.

excellent buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to replace my 55 inch Insignia led, with a bigger one, since the 55 inch is going into my Movie room, I have purchased Insignia TVs before and have never been disappointed. I just bought this TV yesterday, so, we shall see So far, the experience as usual was great, ordered this on line for pick up, was ready and waiting when I got there, I was in and out in 10 minutes, Got it home and everything as usual was packed for it's protection. once everything was out, ten minutes, it was on the mount of my stand and hooked up. Once I turned it on, followed a couple of easy steps and the TV was running beautifully, cable, Roku, all self synced with no hassles Color, beautiful, didn't change a thing, left it at factory setting and it was crisp, just beautiful, the sound, changed it to theater and superbass and excellent, don't need to raise it above 12. Switching between cable, Roku is a snap, no more going to inputs and finding the right one, it's all there for you. Understanding, I just bought it and hooked it up yesterday, we shall see in the upcoming weeks, if nothing changes, my review here will stand, and as I usually buy Insignia products, I honestly don't for see any problems coming around EXCELLENT buy for the money, if you are thinking of getting a 65 inch or upgrading, don't think any longer, order it, you will not regret it.

Easy Set Up and Great Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this TV set up for a couple of days, but so far the picture is much better than my last two big screens. Love the ROKU interface, but another remote to keep up with. Hard wired ethernet, so streaming content is excellent. Wait, a 65" that was $650? I also called ahead for box dimensions and a nice associate went and measured. Two associates loaded in my car. Thank you Best Buy!

Insignia 65 4K TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 65 4K is Stunning! I bought it while on sale at 699.00, and it is a fantastic deal. Don't have 4k yet? You Tube does, with various programming you can enjoy with the same picture quality as you see on display. You won't be disappointed. It features ROKU and I love it. Easy to use and quickly connects to your router.

OMG!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this 65 inch at my local Best Buy last night for $650. After setting it all up the 4K and the picture quality in the HDR and the Roku, oh my goodness it's mind-blowing. I cannot believe people are paying $2,000 for a set when I just paid $650. This the most incredible TV for the money that mankind has ever created. This set has HDR, it doesn't say it on the box but it does have it and it displays HDR information on screen. It's simply requires software update which comes online. Paired it with a $200 Sony speaker bar / subwoofer, and this is simply fantastic. Insignia has a fantastic picture, for the money you're not going to be able to beat it anywhere. You'd have to drop $3,300 and get a OLED or a QLED For $650 bucks ths is insane, loving this in my new man cave!

Fantastic TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV last month after our 55 inch Vizio gave out. Love the 65 inch size. I'm new to Roku and find the interface easy to navigate and neatly organized. No need to search out 4K when Roku puts it all together in one app. The clarity/sharpness is outstanding. For 650.00 dollars this deal cannot be beat. If you love watching movies and want an immersive experience with a big screen TV at a phenomenal price..this TV is for you!
