It isn't a self defrost but that shouldn't be an issue. If you have to defrost once a year it won't take long as it is just 7cu ft! very happy with this purchase

I am happy I purchased this but there is no light inside the freezer. You just have to use your flashlight if it is dark.

I am getting a thermometer for it today. If you vacuum pack and freeze, this little upright will do the job and then some!

Eliminates the digging around to find what you're looking for as everything is eye level. Compact for small spaces.

We like that it is upright so we aren't digging in the bottom of a chest freezer to see what we have.
