    I purchased this freezer because the overall reviews were good. Unfortunately, the one I received started accumulating frost immediately. I have only had this freezer for a little over a month and I am struggling to get Best Buy to make this right. I hope to get resolution very soon.

    The freezer was replacing one 15 yr old and had solid reviews. After all, what can go wrong with something that just sits there? Great shelves and good style but no self defrost feature. Here we are 17 months later, and it has died.

    I brought the freezer home from a physical store, opened the box (everything was fine), and plugged it in. When I came back the next day, one of the shelves had spontaneously shattered (see photograph). When I contacted customer support, they informed me my only recourse was to take the entire freezer back to Best Buy for an exchange. No thanks! Be aware of this issue if you intend to purchase because a quick scan of the other negative reviews shows I'm not the only one to experience this defect.

    When we received the product, the corner got dented. We requested for an exchange but nothing happened. Other than that, it’s working just fine

    Compressor died after 45 days

    Bought this in early July to store summer veggies, soups, and freshly caught fish….brought it home, let it stand for a week unplugged before plugging in. Let it run a few days before loading. 6 inches of wall clearance front and sides…came home over Labor Day to puddles on the floor and a stench. Best Buy team treated us awesome, sent it out to diagnose or repair…notified it was the compressor and offered a replacement unit. However we are out all the ruined food plus cleanup as well as time to locate and replace the freezer.

    The shelves are glass, which I don't like (but I knew that when I purchased it). It doesn't hold a 16 lb. bag of ice - I needed to take out a shelf to fit it in. The glass shelves are narrow and don't stay in place. So if you're not carful taking things out, the shelf can fall out and shatter.

    Functions fine, keeps things cold. However, you'd think 7 cu is bigger than 5cu. WRONG. I couldnt fit everything in my 5cu into this thing!!!!

    I just picked up today (10/15/21) looks ok haven’t start using it yet but the back panel has a long dent in it, just leaving a comment here in case it doesn’t work properly so i have proof here it was damaged inside.

    I bought this on July 9 on July 23 it stopped working and I lost all my meat. The funny thing is that you could hear it running all the time. We checked it several times over the time we had it so it seemed like it was okay. Then we found that blood was seeping out of the freezer and when I opened it,,,,,,, well we were surprised to find that it was not okay. So I lost 150lb of meat and fish.

    Did a curbside pickup, box looked fine. Brought it home and discovered damages upon unboxing. Haven’t plugged in yet, so let’s hope it works.

    Impossible to level

    The rubber leg on the front left corner is just a little peg sitting on a screw. The screw went straight through it and now there is no way to level it. The leveling of this freezer is crazy hard for no reason.

    Damaged new in box, no make-good from BB

    Opened the box and there is a 7 inch dent on the top of the freezer. The box has only a minor puncture so who knows what happened. BB won't offer any help or remediation so my only option is to haul this 100lb appliance back myself to get a different unit so I guess I'm stuck with this damaged freezer. Last appliance I'll buy from BB.

    I bouth this freezer , the firts time came with a lot of damages , i call best buy and asked for a change , they did , but the second time came in and the was another issued with it,"the shelf were not fitting in the freezer , there're to small". I called best buy againg and they just diced to give me a refund instead changing it.

    Initial Review - I never knew something could be so damaged in the box. I could only upload 6 photos, otherwise there would be more to show. From looking at other reviews they too have received this. For being the "Best Buy Brand", you would think that they would do better quality checks on their own material. What I received is not in operable condition and had to pay to get a vehicle large enough to deliver.

    Bad weather strip design

    The weather strip on the door keeps coming off. I keep having to snap it back in place, but frost are building up inside the freezer within the first few days. I wish the weather strip were screwed into the door.

    MOLD - BEST BUY IS THE WORST.. THE BOX INTERIOR WAS FULL OF MOLD. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY BLAMED ME FOR PUTTING THE BOX IN AN OPEN FLATBED. HOW DOES A 5 MINUTE DRIVE IN A PICK UP TRUCK CAUSE MOLD?? I CAN BRING IT BACK AND GET ANOTHER.. WHO WANTS TO TAKE THAT CHANCE.. SEE PIC..

    First one of these would not get cold enough. Was told to bring the freezer back to the store and would be given a new one. Get to the store and lo and behold there are no freezers to be had anywhere. About a week later was able to get a second one but this one doesn't get cold whatsoever, the compressor runs but the freezer stays at room temperature. Look elsewhere.
