Had a chest freezer for a few years, and it works great. However, having the stand up freezer is so much more convenient getting food out. No more digging to get items out from the bottom. Also bought one for my parents who are keeping theirs in a garage in NJ. The ambient temp rating is much lower than other stand ups in the general price range so that was nice. Cord is about 5 feet long. Thought I’d add that because I was curious myself but couldn’t find the answer anywhere.

The seal around this freezer is amazing the first time I tried to pull the door open I realized it required a little more muscle. I think it was priced fairly and the size is sufficient for my needs. Very happy!!!
