It works very well and quiet. It does accumulate frost overtime so have to defrost but not big deal for us. It helps our meat and frozen food storage in addition to our regular frig.

This freezer is perfect for space saving and those who have bad backs or just are not tall enough to reach to the bottom of a normal chest freezer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

However it is so light that even with it being half full when pulling the door open you have to hold the top or you will pull the freezer towards you.

Had a chest freezer for a few years, and it works great. However, having the stand up freezer is so much more convenient getting food out. No more digging to get items out from the bottom. Also bought one for my parents who are keeping theirs in a garage in NJ. The ambient temp rating is much lower than other stand ups in the general price range so that was nice. Cord is about 5 feet long. Thought I’d add that because I was curious myself but couldn’t find the answer anywhere.

My mom deep freezer went out I replace with this freezer. I ask her ho she like and she said she LOVE's it. The best thing for her is she do not have to bin over in to freezer anymore. She love that its upright. Overall it was a good but.
