Don't buy Insignia!!!!!!

It was perfect and worked for 2 months then in January I went to get some meat out and noticed that all the meat was thawed out! We had to throw out all the meat. I called Best Buy and they said to bring the freezer in and they will exchange it for a new one. That's all fine and dandy but what about all the meat we had to throw out and the money we spent to have the deer processed? Best Buy said I had to contact Insignia and gave me the #, after calling Insignia they told me I had to contact Best Buy, so after getting the run around and wasted 1 1/2 with nobody that could help me or give me answers they said they can send me a form to fill out for spoiled food but it probably get denied is what the "geek quad guy" said, because I didn't buy the extra protection. My husband was right when he asked me why I bought a freezer from Best Buy and why would I get an Insignia because we have heard nothing good about this brand. My advice would be to spend a little extra money and get a better brand that actually has a customer service dept that can help you because Best Buy and Insignia will only give you the run around. My friend had gotten a refrigerator from Lowes and when it quit working just under a year, Lowes exchanged it and cut her a check for her spoiled food while she was at the store, no questions asked. I will never get another appliance from Best Buy again because their customer service is pretty much useless! I am so disappointed with them after this horrible experience!!!
