I’m 77 years plus and having to empty the whole chest every time I’m looking for something was very difficult! I can categorize each shelf in this upright which really makes my search easier! Not a negative but, the 7 cubic doesn’t hold more than the 6.5 , it’s just easier to access. I must say that this purchase from the beginning to picking it up was flawless; yes, I know, hard to believe!

It was delivered 4 weeks before I had unplanned major surgery. Was so happy I had it! Was able to stock up on frozen food and freeze the food "gifts" from friends & family. Purchased a "smart" thermostat to monitor temps - pretty consistent at -10 setting in my 1-car garage against 2 interior walls all winter in Phila region.

It even freezes well just slightly past the "minimum" spot on the temperature dial. The space inside is great for a 7cu ft interior size and it suits my purposes just fine. However, I hope I can still say the freezer is working well 1 year from now.
