Very happy with our purchase. Has enough space for for our needs. Compact, quiet and the price was just right. Cheaper, at the time of purchase, than HD for the equivalent size

Freezer was delivered as requested. Freezer does a very good job of keeping products frozen. No issues with the freezer performing as advertised. Fits lots of the extras we need. Only issue was that there was an approximate 3-inch dent on the right side rear of the freezer. Freezer seems to be working, so will reserve judgment if anything goes wrong. I did purchase an extended warranty, so I am covered if an issue arises. Price was right for this size, but no-one seems to design a 'frost-free' in this size. If you desire frost-free, price (and size) go up appreciably.

Needed more room then our 3.5 freezer. This front opening freezer appro. double the space easier to see what is inside. Footprint no wider and deeper just taller. Perfect for our space. So far very happy with this purchase.

We put ours in the garage. Nice freezer. Great size . Keeps the temp at 0. Quiet. I especially like that the shelves come out to clean easier. Sure frees up space in my kitchen freezer.

This is a great size for our storage room and the shelves are pretty sturdy. We were looking for a more affordable option and this freezer fits the bill. It runs really well and organizes so much better than a chest freezer. It’s also not impossibly heavy and we were able to take it up a flight of stairs without much difficulty. And it has wheels to make it easy to move around on a hard surface floor.

This is a great freezer at a great price! Takes awhile to get it, and be sure to check for dents before you take home. First one was really bashed, but second was perfect. BestBuy totally backs up their products, and when you get this home it's excellent! Nice design, quiet operation, roomy. As nice as any freezer at a great price! Wish they offered it in black.

My wife was skeptical at first, but she's grown to love our Insignia 7 cu ft freezer. She wanted a chest style, but I talked her into an upright. It's much better. You don't have to dig through heavy frozen stuff to find stuff at the bottom. You just open the door and there's like 5-6 shelves to store stuff on. We've had it a year and it's worked perfect the whole time. We really like it, and we use is every day.

I have a vegetable garden, and I freeze veggies. We also like to store ice packs, ice cream, burgers and hot dogs for entertaining in the summer. In the past, I just didn't have enough freezer space, but I couldn't find a good solution. I didn't want a chest freezer (too difficult to find things on the bottom), and I didn't want a large upright. This upright freezer is the perfect size for us at a good price. I currently have it in our attached garage. I haven't found it to be noisy, and it doesn't take up much space. The lack of a light doesn't bother me. I haven't needed to defrost it yet, and I am not anticipating a problem with that. I love that it is a small upright, and I can easily find things. I would recommend this to a friend.

A great small deep freezer. I knew I wanted an upright deep freezer with shelves for easer keep and being able to find things. This thing doesn’t disappoint. We love it. It keeps things completely frozen and we have it stuffed. I love the shelves and I love that I can keep everything organized. If you are in the market for a deep freezer, but want something smaller and don’t want to be leaner over and searching in a box... this is for you. It’s like opening up a fridge. We had it installed and delivered and Best Buy didn’t disappoint. We stacked our washer and dryer and put it in our laundry area. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but it holds a lot more food than it looks. It’s perfect for what we wanted.

While this freezer was a bit difficult for one person without a dolly to get into the house, once it was in it’s been perfect!!! It’s big enough for my family if 5 needs. It’s great for us because we can see everything we have unlike the deep freezers! It is very affordable and stays incredibly cold. Only took about an hour once plugged in to freeze a bottle of water. We have had this for a little over aweek and are truly happy for our purchase!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT: fantastic price, very efficient & when it runs, it's VERY QUIET! Plus, it's just the right size and I'm sooo glad that they are making it again after Covid. I wanted it before, but they sold out right away. As I'm the only one in my household now; plus, I'm diabetic and have many food allergies, I can cook economically again for many; then make them into my own home-made TV dinners that I freeze = TRUE HAPPINESS! There's also a shelf that fits pizzas perfectly! In addition, I really like how tightly it closes, which is a PLUS!

It’s small and short and perfect for my space. Holds a lot. Like the separate top freezer area. I put ice trays there. Wish there was a light inside. Wish there was a lip on the shelves to help hold things in. Glad I bought it. Used it immediately. Still working fine. No noise. Great. The door seal is tight. You must wait a few minutes in between opening it to allow the pressure to release.

I never thought an upright freezer would be so much more convenient than our old chest freezer. That is, until we actually got to organize the contents of our freezer. Our old (20+ year old) chest freezer is still in service and still very handy. During these winter months it is nice to have options on hand Incase the weather closes in on you. During this pandemic it’s especially important to have a stockpile on hand. This little freezer fits the bill. Delivery was terrific, in and out in minutes. Keeps everything frozen solid and easy to get to. Nothing gets buried and forgotten. This is a small freezer with lots of room inside. We would definitely buy it again.

This freezer is just the right size for my hubby and I. It freezes well and has just the right shelving.

Quiet, convenient size in an upright unit, most uprights are larger. Like the shelving for ease of access to the food. The door is a little hard to open and tends to move the freezer when you try to open it, but that improves as you load the freezer and it gets heavy. Works well as of 2 months of use.

I’ve had this Insignia 7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer for a little over two years now, and overall, it’s been a great purchase. It’s kept everything consistently frozen, even through seasonal garage temperature swings, and the upright design makes organizing food super easy and efficient. The freezer is spacious without taking up too much room, and it’s been very low maintenance. For most of the time I’ve had it, it’s run quietly and efficiently with no issues. Just recently, I noticed the compressor starting to make a humming or buzzing noise. It’s not super loud, but noticeable if you’re nearby. Functionally, it’s still working fine, so I’m keeping an eye on it. Hopefully it holds up. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable freezer for your garage or basement, this one is definitely worth considering. Just be aware that like any appliance, it may start to show wear after a couple years.

We've owned chest type freezers for years. Still own one now and will continue using it. Bought the small 7 cubic foot upright for the convenience of being able to see what we are looking for without digging, and to be able to reach stuff without using a "grabber" that is on or near the bottom (my arms are not long enough.) It's quiet--almost no noise at all. Compressor runs really hot so I put a small Rotron Muffin fan to draw the heat away from it. Decided to purchase the extended warranty due to a few things that make me feel this was a returned item, even though most packing seemed normal. For instance, the center mounted thermostat housing inside was loose and falling down. The thermostat setting knob was just loosely taped to the side packing material. A grommet was attached to the power cord with no place for it to be attached to anything, and the power cord was wrapped like it had been used. Not a "factory" type wrap. One corner was slightly dented. I'd waited since February to purchase this freezer. "SOLD OUT" or "NOT AVAILABLE TO BE SHIPPED TO YOUR ZIP CODE" and most frustrating, the one time it seemed to be available, I couldn't pick it up at my local Best Buy store. But I could put it in my cart. Also "not available within 250 miles." The best thing, I COULD use PayPal to purchase the freezer. But February to August before I could finally acquire one? Not happy. But the freezer seems fine. If you can find one locally and it isn't a "returned" item, go for it. Good size (less than 4 square feet of floor space.) Convenience of an upright freezer. Quiet. I have 5 people in my home so I needed extra frig/freezer space so I I went freezer only instead of a frig/freezer combo which would cost a lot of $. This model is very affordable compared to others that jump in price $$$, especially larger horizontal models. Which BTW is always way better to got Vertical in my house. Cons:I miss no handle. No Interior light. I've only had it for 3 weeks. Pros:Very affordable way to store more food during pandemic or not. Goes Vertical. Deal Maker:I looked at my expensive side by side frig/freezer, measured the Freezer side and saw that it almost matches this Insignia freezer. So unless I have a 1/2 cow's carcass to put in my freezer, this one will do.

The freezer is excellent. It fits neatly into a small space and is out of the way. It has plenty of space, big racks, and very quiet. Very economical and a very good price.

I love our new Insignia 7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer! It is the perfect size for our small apartment kitchen. There is a lot more room in it than I thought there would be. It runs smoothly and keeps it at the right temperature. I wish that it had a door handle to open instead of the grip at the top of the door, but I don't mind because the freezer is perfect and it's hard to find a small upright freezer. This was the answer to my storage problems!!!
