Perfectly cool!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This freezer was the perfect size! It was easy to transport and install, and large enough to accommodate the frozen meats for which we purchased it. It maintains 0 degrees noiselessly and economically. Perfect!

Perfect size. Needs better door
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the size of this freezer. Holds a lot and love that it’s a smaller upright freezer so it fits into our garage without drama. Would probably buy it again, but maybe a newer model? The freezer is left open a bit too much — Not sure if teens, husband or freezer is to blame. I think a little bit of everyone. The door bares watching… Double checking that it’s closed.

Super Choice For My New House
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this small upright freezer to replace a large one I had to leave when I downsized to a smaller home. In shopping for a new freezer there were many chest freezer options but I am a short person and I felt that it would be very difficult to get to items buried at the bottom. All items in this upright are convenient to see and access. I do miss an interior light.

Works ok but noisy and much smaller than expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a 7 cu ft Kenmore chest freezer because I was tired of digging to find that last package of green beans buried at the bottom. I love the better visibility of an upright. But I do not see how this is really 7 cu ft. I had half-emptied my 7 cu ft chest freezer in anticipation of transferring everything to the new freezer. I put the remaining contents into the new freezer, and it was FULL. I was amazed, so I measured my empty chest freezer interior and calculated the actual usable space, and it was really 7 cu ft. So, I don't know how Insignia calculates, but there is just no way that there is 7 cu ft of usable interior space. I have not given away the chest freezer, I am thinking about keeping it because I need the space. Maybe the curved corners and space wasted above each shelf amounts to 3.5 cu ft wasted, but I don't really think so. There are also really tiny curved spaces at the top and bottom that are kind of useless. Again, hard to believe this can store 7 cu ft of stuff. If you crush it in their before freezing, you could never get it out, LOL. This is not much bigger than my refrigerator freezer compartment. Also, the chest freezer never made any noise, and it did not seem to run very often. This one will probably cost more to use as it runs a lot. Worst of all, I HATE that they did not attach a handle. I have a really hard time opening the door as the magnetic seal is soooooo stiff. Yes, good for keeping it cold inside, but way too hard to open if you have something in your hands when wanting to open the door. I have to use both hands to pry it open. Hopefully, the seal will get softer after use. I think you get what you pay for. I wanted a manual defrost to avoid thawing the contents, but I would like a true 7 cu ft interior, a quiet compressor and fan, and a handle on the door. Missed on 3 out of 4 counts. Sorry, Insignia. Maybe stick to TV's.

Best bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this! Great freezer for the money. I literally shopped 9 different stores to find the best fit. I needed the extras freezer space for overflow items and for meat (venison). I also needed something that would not take up a lot of space, which it does not. I was pleased with the amount of space there actually was and it gets, surprisingly, even colder than my main, Samsung, fridge/freezer. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome upright freezer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect size freezer for a family of 7. Multi temp settings are great and plenty of space giving you the ability to fit the same amount as a chest freezer but with the ability to see everything at a quick glance.

Great freezer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This freezer is extremely quiet and the temperature stays consistent. I thought the pizza storage at the top was going to be useless and I haven't used it for puzza but it turns out to be a great storage area for other things lije frozen hamburger buns. I am very pleased with the freezer.

Great Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little upright freezer for the price. Doesn't take up too much space in my garage. Love that there are shelves inside but would have been even better if they were adjustable.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The White Insignia 7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer is perfect! We have enjoyed it so far. The purchasing part of it was horrible due to customer service. However, we needed it badly. The ease of use is great. Likewise, it fits perfectly in the space we intended for it to fit. It keeps the food frozen to perfection. Also, cleaning it is great also! It’s the perfect little freezer! We love it!

Upright Freezer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m so glad I got the freezer. I never wanted a chest freezer. I didn’t want to dig for buried treasure. This upright freezer with shelving holds as much as a chest of similar size but with the benefit of organization. Everything is accessible without digging. This is a great starter freezer at a great price!

My little Fraser
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this freezer for a little over a year now. It fit perfectly in my garage it’s about 21 x 22“ in diameter and it is the best little machine I’ve ever had better than the chest that I had. I’m really glad that I decided to go on an upright. It makes it much easier to rotate your food out and you don’t leave anything buried or other things like you did in the chest. It grows a great price is one of the reason that went l decided to try the upright. I am so glad I did. It works perfectly, and was a great value. I would buy another one if this one out which I don’t predict will happen anytime soon.

Super deal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great freezer. Small area taken up but good storage. Great for two people or as a second freezer to hold specific things. Wonderful price. Well worth the money. Prefect for small apartments, or when a large freezer is to much. Prefect out of the box. Customer service was excellent. Ordered it and it was in the store early.

Nice little unit
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my freezer!!! This is perfect for a family of 4. It has 4 shelves. I buy my food monthly, since I get paid on the first of the month. I buy all my meat and store it in the freezer and take it out as needed. i keep ice cream and bread and thing I use frequently in my freezer on my refrigerator. This keeps the veggies and meat! I only need to defrost it once or twice a year. It fits my family nicely!!

Seems like a good freezer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had it for a couple of days and it seems well built enough and solid, although there's no grill or cover for the back panel on the bottom and it seemed liked a mess of wires in there. But as long as it works who cares. For the low price I think it's a great buy! It also holds quite a lot in a small unit. One IMPORTANT thing you should be aware of. After closing the door the pressure needs to stabilize so it's almost impossible to open the door again for up to a minute. You can pry it open by putting a wrench in the gap on the door and twisting it. But trying to do so during this time will scratch the paint and you might damage the gasket. So plan on taking out or putting in everything you need before closing the door, be patient and wait a minute before trying to open the door again.

Great freezer for great price!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 0 complaints about the freezer. The store employee loaded it on the rental truck with ease. If you buy this and you take it home yourself, please make sure you are using a vehicle where you do not have to lay it down. The freezer should be upright at all times because of the refrigerant. If you do lay it down (for only a short period) make sure you don't plug it in for 24 hours. I was informed this by the staff. This freezer has a LOT of room for this price. It freezer VERY well. I have the dial only half way. I took the frozen things out of my regular freezer and it did not defrost at all. I wantes frost free but this has accumulated so little frost it doesn't even matter to me. The key is to keep the dial in the right position. Also, curbside pick up was sooo easy. I didn't have to get out (my freezer was laid down for a short time until I went to the store to buy things to tie it down in an upright position). The staff was amazing and extremely friendly. I love thia store! I bought the warranty just in case something happens. It is worth it! You should too!

Just what we needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just enough room for us to freeze extra things. Counter depth refrigerators have a smaller freezer and we just needed a little extra room for just the two of us and company. Perfect size! Its not one that has all the frills but if you want basic extra room it is perfect. Doesn't have a light to show you it is on so we bought an alarm that that will warn us if there is a problem.

Plenty of room. Great price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best bang for the buck for the size. Plenty of room. I went with a vertical to save space in the garage. Chest freezers take too much room. Not going to beat the price.

Good freezer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the size, and it cools well. It's also much easier to find what we have than with a chest freezer or bottom drawer. The door can be a bit difficult to open, particularly if it was recently open (like when you're putting away the groceries). And the wheels slide, so we had to add casters underneath to keep it in place. The shelves are just a bit narrow for the cleats that hold them up, so they can become dislodged on one side or the other (in front). We've added some spacers at the edge to help keep this from happening. It was almost impossible to get the protective plastic film off! Usually, that stuff peels away easily. If it wasn't for the fact that it didn't cover the entire freezer, I'd have thought it wasn't supposed to be removed! All in all, I like this freezer, and it is well worth the price we paid.

Great freezer for the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live in a condo and this fits perfectly in our eat in kitchen. Holds enough for us to be able to take advantage of sales and cook big batches of soups and sauce. Wish it had baskets for the bottom shelf but am very happy with what we have for the price we paid
