Like everyone else, bought this to minimize trips to the grocery store while 'shelter in place' orders in effect. Wanted a 13-14 cubic foot auto defrost but there was none to be found, so went with this one. So far, we love it. Light weight and easy to move, way more space than anticipated - perfect for overflow from main freezer for two people. Relatively tiny footprint. Very quiet. Got cold quickly - put a freezer thermometer on each shelf, every one read -2 to -5 degrees F with the dial set just beyond the halfway point toward max cold. Changing the side the door opens on was a bit of a pain, and the seal remains slightly compressed where it was originally against the hinge on the other side as manufactured, but it seems to seal ok... I would say though that if not important to you, just leave it alone and use it as it comes. This is my first manual defrost freezer and not looking forward to the process when the time comes, but at least the shelves and interior are all smooth (no coils or wire shelves) and looks like it won't be too difficult to let it melt and wipe out.

Purchased this freezer for my garage. Family picked it up at the store, followed instructions for set up and 6+ weeks later, working as expected. I had seen comments about shelves not fitting well - no problem here. Also comments about it failing soon after purchase - so far so good! My only regret - and this is on me - is that I didn't realize I'd have to defrost it!

Nice freezer for price. Works great keeping food frozen without running constantly. The only reason for the 4 star review is that there's no handle for the door, just a cut out type handle, at top of door to open it whichs makes it almost impossible for my kids to get the door open because they can't reach the top. Also the seal on the door is so tight and the freezer being so light, almost tips over just trying to get the door open. Its great that the seal is thight but an actual handle would be nice so i dont have to worry about the seal getting ruined from my kids trying to get the door open from the side.

This freezer is the perfect size to tuck in the corner of our garage. We have had it for nearly two years and have had no problems. Reasonably priced, as well.

Excellent freezer to fit a small space. Very quiet, you will not hear it running. Priced well, attractive unit, kids safe, to open door latch is on the top.

It does what it's supposed to do. It's quiet and keeps the food as cold as are much more expensive freezer inside. We keep this one in the garage. It doesn't seem like it needs to be defrosted as often as I expected. The only issue we have is that it's extremely hard to get the door open. You have to hold the freezer solid as you try to open the door.

It was fairly easy to set up. And so far it is good at keeping the food frozen. It is big enough to keep all of our food.

We downsized from a family-size upright to a size more appropriate for a couple. We must be a bit more restrained about stocking up from Costco! It will take some planning to handle a turkey, but squarish boxed items fit well. The shelves are glass, so no freezing power there; it's more like a giant cooler chest with the freezing power in the walls/top/bottom. I keep an inventory list on the door so I know what's inside and where. I wish it were frost-free; I don't know how often it will need manual defrosting. Purchased in Sept 2020 after waiting for several weeks for it to be in stock--big demand during pandemic.

I have found that this costs very little to operate. Looks very nice. Has a great deal on the door. I really like the shelves to be able to find things easier. I don't even hear it running. My only con to this is there is no thermostat inside to tell you what it is. But for the great price of this, your not going to get all the bells and whistles. I bought a 4 dollar thermostat that works great, problem solved. For the shape of this and you can reverse the door if needed it's a great deal for anyone.

Great extra freezer. Needed a second freezer for the garage fits perfectly without taking up too much space. Holds temperature very well. Easy to use and move around

This freezer is a great size for a small area in the garage - it has lots of space to hold food and keeps things really cold! Very glad I purchased and would recommend!

This freezer is awesome and compact. I needed more freezer space due to the pandemic. It holds plenty of food inside. I am thinking of purchasing a 2nd one and put them side by side. You can also change the doors to open right or left side. It doesn't take a lot of space and it looks nice. The only issue I see is that it doesnt have a handle to pull open the door. You have to curve your fingers on the top gap f and pull. I tried to open door and freezer moved even holding plenty of food inside. Ladies.....have to be careful you dont break a nail while tugging on door. Overall I highly recommend.

I needed extra freezer space. I didn't want a chest freezer because I didn't want to have to climb inside to get to the bottom. This upright freezer is perfect and was actually less money than some of the chest freezers I looked at. Being an upright, it takes up a lot less room too. I couldn't be happier for deciding on this freezer. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs extra freezer space without taking up a lot of space.

I love it, it's the right size I was looking. I've been looking for an upright freezer for 8 months, I found some that larger and triple the money. When I saw this on Best Buys web page I knew it was going to work. Of course it was out of stock and the day I found it back in stock I was about to buy one from Lowes that was smaller and double the price, when I came home I looked on the web site and it was in stock, I ordered it right there and then. Very happy, wish it had a light but it's OK, I can live with no light. In fact my brother came over for a visit and he's going to look into getting him one.

I shopped around quite a bit prior to purchasing this freezer. It has a upright slim design that fit in my garage perfectly. I especially like that I don’t have to bend over to reach in and down to look for items in this freezer. I’m 5” 4’ and did not like leaning into my last freezer and moving it all around to find what I was looking for. With this freezer, the upright design and spacious shelves make it easier for my kids to open the door and find what they are looking for (usually popsicles) right away with no digging. This is the first stand up style deep freezer I have had but it works great for my family and I.

This is a nice freezer, especially for the price. Items are frozen perfectly and temperature stays consistent.

I am so incredibly happy with this purchase! It barely takes up any room, Holds quite a bit, and was definitely affordable! I should have gotten one a long time ago.

This freezer fit my needs. It fits in a small space, has great shelves, holds a lot for its size.

We're happy we selected this freezer. It was one of the least expensive ones on the market, and we've had no problems with it. We had a huge freezer that we turned into a refrigerator, and so this smaller one was the perfect size for the space we had and for our needs, The only thing lacking, in our opinion, is a light inside. Other than that, great freezer. Also, the two installers from Best Buy were very friendly and did a great job.

This is a great freezer. Lots of capacity, stays super cold. I've had it for around six mobnths and have not had to defrost. There in fact is not even any ice build up yet. We live in a pretty dry area though, so your results might be different if you have high humidity.
