Fast and Friendly Staff，and very helpful..........

This was purchased Online on 4-23-20. I went to pick it up In Lancaster, Pa using Curbside pickup. The associates were fast Loading it into my Vehicle. Unfortunately once home and taken out of the box. I noticed the freezer wasn’t leveled. I contacted the store manager and was told they have no more in stock and I had the option of returning it to a store. I also called Insignia which wasn’t much help either. Totally disappointed. They basically said it was a manufacture defect and there was nothing they can do. It’s weather live with it or return within the 15 day. Save ur money and upgrade!!

Things went the way I was told. I am well pleased.

Have had it a month and no complaints. Does the job.

After more than two month of use, the shelves at the middle section inside the freezer keeps falling. I could see that middle is wider that top and bottom. Any solution to the issue?

Recently bought this "freezer". After getting it home and plugging it in, it won't get cold. I wait 4 hours, nothing. Then get some frost build up. After 24 hours, it was only down to 40 degrees. At the 36 hour mark, it was still 40 degrees. So, ehh, stuff happens sometimes. Just figured I got a defective one. It happens and I didn't think much of it. Bring this one back to the store to return it. There is one left! So I return the defective one and exchange it for a new one. Bring the 2nd one home. Boom...40 degrees. After 24 hours, to Insignia's defense, it did get slightly colder to 38 degrees. But I went further to test it out. Put in a ice cube tray filled with water. After 12 hours, it half froze 2 ice cubes. The other 10 were still water. How that happens, is beyond me. So now I am sitting here waiting for Best Buy to come pick this up and so I can get my refund. Also be careful of the shelves because they move around so much, it would be very easy to break. I wish I had better experience. At least the chat people were very helpful and the people in the store were very helpful. That is the positive behind this one experience. Honestly, if you want to buy this as a refrigerator, it would be perfect! But then you would have a refrigerator that builds up frost and has unsteady shelves.

I bought an upright freezer. It chilled so I put food in it. IT NEVER FROZE. $150 worth of meats, irreplaceable fruit (wild fruit for making jelly) and other things, garbage. They took it back without question. That was great.

The thermostat had shaken loose during shipment and part of the plastic housing had cracked, but I was able to snap it back in place. On of the feet on the bottom had cracked, but I just put a piece of wood in its place. So far it is keeping our food frozen. I probably would have returned it if not for the quarantine making it a challenge to find a freezer.

Only had freezer for a month so have to wait and see

The shelves are not wide enough to stay on the brackets. One side is always off and I’m afraid they will break if not constantly checked to make sure they are on the bracket.

We only had this for a few days but im testing it to see if it will keep our meat fresh without completely freezing it. The 3 stars is do to the time ive had the freezer

Im not crazy about it, its small and i needed larger but it serves the purpose just know dont over shop.

We purchased an upright freezer which so far has worked fine but the freezer was delivered with a dent in the door. The delivery person said to go ahead and use it and the would report it and take care of the paper work to get a new one. So far we have heard nothing. Dent not bad but very disappointed in service.

I was warned that the freezer door “might stick a bit”. Even the instruction manual said it might—and that a little bit of vaseline would solve the problem. The freezer arrived. The door stuck HARD, requiring two hands and heavy pull. A little vaseline didn’t work. A LOT of vaseline didn’t work; I still needed my stronger husband to open the door. We returned the product (Best Buy was good about that.)

Don’t buy thí freeze it keeps cooler too long , when turn on the cool it’s have iced around, it bad

Love the stand up freezer thankfully when it broke a had a warranty and they replaced it right away

It’s doable, but every day I fear it’s going to die, based on the amount of excessive ice inside. Even after numerous adjustments, not sure it’s worth the undue stress of wondering day to day if it’ll still work
