    Freezer arrived with one corner dented and some small dents in the back. The box was untouched which makes me think that the freezer was damaged when it went into the box. I think this is poor quality control.

    Freezes things well so far. But very loud so best if able to put somewhere in the house that is not heavily used.

    The size and design were just what we were looking for, but the freezer would not cool below 30F on the Max setting and the frozen foods we put in it were thawed before we realized this. We returned the freezer. The delivery and return process were excellent.

    Absolutely horrible. I bout the freezer. Waited hours to let the Freon has to settle. Turned it on. The next day. It was ice cold, as should be. Went out and spent $400.00 on steaks, chops, burgers, frozen vegetables and fill it up. They say after I opened the freezer for some steaks and it was totally warm. All the food was spoiled. What a waste. I lost $400.00 worth of food. I have been shopping at Best Buy for years. Had many flat screens. And had magnolia put them up. Surround sound systems. Apple products,etc. never again. Best should have done something for my loss.

    This worked great for one year and one day. Just enough time for the warranty to expire and for me to loose all the food I had prepared for the holidays. A year and a day from delivery, it appeared to not be as cold and then just stopped working the next day. We tried all the normal troubleshooting but no luck. Customer support was no help offering me a replacement then saying I was not eligible, then offering repairs and informing me there would be a charge. Complete waste of money.

    BestBuy delivered a brand new product appliance to my home after we lost all of our appliances to Hurricane Laura and we needed a freezer to support our immediate needs while waiting on insurance claims... Best Buy dropped off a box with a broken freezer in it leaving us out of money put together to get us out of a crisis.

    Bought this product to have somewhere to put meat and other frozen goods. Was excited that I was able to find one during the COVID19 pandemic, but was quickly disappointed that the unit I bought was defective! I left it plugged up after installation for 24 hours and it was still hot! I'm extremely disappointed and definitely will have Best Buy come pick it up.

    Terrible service to rectify product exchange

    I paid for delivery and they left it in my driveway and when I finally got it into place in my basement it did not work. Apparently factory never soldered Freon coil. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Best Buy for a replacement to no avail! I will not be purchasing anything further ever from Best Buy. I was a loyal customer up until this point.

    delivered two days ago and doesn't work! wont get cold and on my fifth call to try and get them to resolve this issue and nothing is being done! every call is a run around and they now just told my 80 year old uncle to bring the freezer into the store!! THAT THEY DELIVERED BROKEN! DURING A PANDEMIC!!

    works well smaller than the wife thought but does the job needed like i said the only big complaint is that the glass shelf came with 3 small chips in it in the rear part of the shelf

    Don't Waste Your Time or Money

    The exterior was pristine, we checked at the store before loading it in the car...and then things start to go down hill quickly. None of the interior shelves fit. The internal casement where the GLASS shelves are supposed to slip into place is warped, so the shelves fall down. Go check the other reviews. When we unpacked the freezer ALL of the shelves were laying on the bottom, because they fell out during shipping. One shelf was chipped due to the way this was shipped. We replaced our shelves with metal bakers racks, because the freezer was an emergency replacement, no other freezers of this size were availalble for immediate pick up in our area. Insignia should be ashamed of manufacturing such a poor product.

    Insignia upright freezer

    Purchased this freezer on December 26th 2020 to install in a new laundry room I was building. The freezer was stored in the garage until the room was complete at the beginning of March (longer than planned). The freezer was connected and switched on. You could hear the motor running so we thought great and left it to reach cool down. We checked a few days later and the freezer had stopped working. We moved the dial from max to off and back to max which started the motor again. We left it again for a few days and checked again. We added some food items and they were cold but not frozen. According to the Best Buy website this item cannot be returned so now I need to contact the manufacturer to fix the issue. Very disappointed with our first purchase of a product made by Insignia.
