I was worried about bad reviews before I purchases but it works very well so far. I don’t need to bend down to get food from freezer like chester freezer. Also the size is perfect for three households and quieter than chest freezer.

We purchased this for a small space and there are only 2 of us so we didn't need a huge freezer. When we picked it up we had to lay it down and we were told to let it set upright twice as long as our ride home was to let the Freon go back to where it needed to be. We actually had it stand up for 4 hours before we plugged it in, but we leveled it and made sure it was running a full day before we put food in it. We've been using a month now and have absolutely no problems with it. It works fine, keeps the items in the freezer frozen properly and that's what we wanted.

Perfect size for small family. Love the upright with five shelves so easy to,organize. Light weight and runs great so far! I would recommend it.

No complaints for the money spent. Keeps food frozen. Compact size makes it easy to tuck in a corner. Reversable door. Glass shelves. Upright design makes organization easy. Just enough extra space in combination to my side by side's freezer to accommodate bulk meat purchases. The following get a pass because of the price: No auto defrost. minor finish / sheet metal flaws, made in China.

Great upright freezer. I can now see everything. The old chest freezer was deep and I couldn’t see what I had. This freezer is very cold and has lots of room. You can hear the freezer sealing close when you shut the door. I love that I can keep it in the garage. I ordered it online and picked it up in the store. Wonderful buy.

Bought this to replace a small chest freezer. Never knew what I already had with the chest-style. Finally, I can see what is inside. The chest freezer had things on the bottom that hadn't seen the light of day in years. This one holds a lot and is easy to organize. Love the glass shelves. Added a couple of plastic bins to hold bags of fruits and vegetables. Perfect size for my utility room. Good delivery experience, too.

Great upright freezer with more room than originally expected! Ive only had it for a few weeks but its working like a champ! I got this to replace a small freezer chest that was nice at the time we got it years ago, just needed more room that took up less floor space and this Freezer fit the bill.

Love the Insignia line. We have 2 freezers a vertical and chest and they work so well especially during these lockdowns and stay at home orders. Well crafted and this 7 Cu. Ft. has lots of space. My only tiny gripe is the shelves are a little bit flimsy and the door easily pops open is enough force or perhaps a cat in my case jumps from it. Easy fix was buying Child Safety Strap Locks Fridge, Cabinets, Drawers, Dishwasher, etc. on Amazon. I have 3 on my freezer and my cats can jump off it anytime and no issues.

Great freezer! Bigger than the one Home depot offers which is 5.0 cu ft. for the same price! The knob to adjust the temp does fall out easily, added some tape on the inner knob to fix that. Other than that works great! Was lucky the store stocked it on the day I ordered it and I was able to pick it up the same day. These freezers are a hot commodity during this pandemic. The door does seal pretty tight and you have to push against the freezer and pull the door open just keep that in mind if you decide to get this.

Nice little freezer, reasonable price and perfect for a small apartment. With glass shelves is easy to wipe them down.

It gets cold, keeps food frozen, rather quiet thus far. It does not self defrost so you will have some frost inside. Overall worth price.

Great freezer, perfect size for me to keep a descent amount of meat items that I purchase on sale and wrap for meals. I like keeping meat items in this freezer separate from my other foods. It does not have shelves in the door but that is ok for my use. Keeps perfect temperature. Handle on the door would be nice. Definitely love the compact size in an UPRIGHT, very important since chest freezers make it so hard to find items that are buried on the bottom of the freezer.

The Insignia™ - 7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer is working well for our needs. Our main freezer is small and a new Refrigerator was not an option at this time due to cost. This is a very affordable alternative. The only consideration is there is not a light inside this freezer or shelving on the door. I would recommend the Insignia™ - 7 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer .

Purchased this one to store extra frozen vegetable snacks items at home and avoid frequent grocery store visits during during this pandemic. Feedback after one month of use: 1. Right size for a small family use - Not too big or not too small 2. Convenience of Upright Freezer - ease of operation 3. Ease of un-boxing and installation - all it took was 15 minutes. 4. Although there were review comments around compressor noise, we have not noticed any so far. It is pretty quite otherwise. 5. It is priced right.

Yes, a light is probably the only thing I would suggest to make this freezer perfect. It is slim, quiet and holds a lot of food!
