    After getting this home, I let it stand upright for 36 hours, plugged it in and 24 hours later it was still not cold enough to freeze anything. Contacted service, they said unplug it for 4 hours, plug it back in and let it go overnight. did that and still the same results. Will be returning this freezer.

    I bought this and set it up in my garage. We put a 12 ounce soda bottle in it to see how fast it would freeze, well it never did so we checked the temperature and it wouldn't get below 30 degrees! I took it back to Best Buy, and I stopped by the Outlet store and saw they had several of this unit in stock...not a good sign!

    Junk. Brought down to the basement then unboxed. Top caved in. Box showed no damage. Thin sheet metal skin. Wish i took pictures to post. Had to lug it back up the stairs. Best buy offered me $20 off a new unit. I spent that in fuel plus carrying up and down the stairs. Told best buy to keep it. Gave my money to home depot. No problems there.

    I would give this 0! Just bought this from Best Buy in Duluth mn. I worked for 3 weeks & then broke!! Water everywhere inside! Stopped freezing!!! Best Buy is so hard to call. Had me on hold forever. Finally gave up.

    Poor product. Door doesn’t close tightly or seal. Freezer didn’t get cold never mind freeze!

    It didn’t work from the beginning. Customer service was good about scheduling someone to come and pick it back up for return, but didn’t communicate well with the crew as they thought they were suppose to be delivering a unit not picking one up. The right hand didn’t seem to talk to the left hand.

    Freezer has been plugged in for two days. Has yet to freeze anything. It works like a refrigerator instead of a freezer. Nothing addressed this in the manual provide that I can see. Best Buy delivery was great. Polite. Took the freezer box with them.

    Purchased August 29th an November 10th found it completely warm and everything spoiled. Insignia refuses to pick it up and the store says we don’t service them here.

    Price may be great. But you get what you pay for. Freezer is extrmeley wobbly because one of the legs solit in half. Best Buy would not provide the extra part. Was told we had to haul it back to the store and get another freezer.

    Heed the buyer beware warnings. This little freezer starts out great with compact upright design but 50 days after we brought it home it is no longer working and everything in it thawed.

    Do not buy this freezer. The freezer is constantly running and after 1 year stop working. The freezer literally stop working a few days after the warranty expired.

    the unit was running continuously. I even spoke to an employee and they just played it off as normal. A new one is being delivered to my house ASAP. Tbe freezer faild and i lost about $800 worth of meat. Thevmeat isn't covered.

    I’ve barely had it plugged in after just purchasing and before I can even put groceries inside of it, it stops working. I’ve attempted several outlets and it’s just completely broken already. I even waited multiple days after getting into the house to plug it in .

    This unit worked GREAT for 18 months then just all of a sudden stopped working, of course we lost all of our food stored in the freezer as well has having a Upright Freezer that does not work. What a waste!!!

    Plugged in and it is on, but doesnt cool. In the last month ive tried moving it to different areas and new outlets but it never cools. Just hear the buzzing noise like a refrigerator. Disappointed and no longer able to return it. Waste of money
