Bad freezer

I had my first one stopped running after 3 days, got 2nd replacement and didn’t work at all. Didn’t want to waste time for the 3rd replacement so I returned it and ordered a different chest freezer.

I had little room to work with in a utility closet and couldn't do a chest style. This fit perfectly and was very affordable and IN STOCK. It's very cold and very quiet. I wish it had a couple drawers in addition to shelves for smaller items. My only complaint is that the shelves don't fit tight - that's why i gave 4 stars instead of three.

Temp inside is about 33 degrees not sub zero as it should be. Best buy only gives a very limited time to return and then you are stuck with the junk.

I constantly had issues with the freezer and finally after 4 months it died. Not sure what the warranty will cover unfortunately I lost all the food as well. Bad investment I would highly recommend not purchasing this brand.

Avoid - fortune in electric costs

My electric bill was insane the past two months until I narrowed it down to this. Stay away. Insignia service will require you to bring to store...what a joke. Never again.

Bought because of size to replace chest freezer.

I had pantry torn apart for 2 weeks and didn't start the freezer up earlier or I would have returned it. Too late now. Wish I had kept the chest freezer.

We liked the size but if it can't do its job that's a problem. The temperature control knob falls out continuously and I don't think turning it does anything!! Would not recommend.
