Initial quality and performance review - we have only owned and used this for about a month. It seems to hold temperature well but might be less cold at the bottom for some reason? We noticed freezing ice on the bottom shelf was not as effective at the bottom. There seems to be some vacuum pulling the door closed tight when you close it… hard to open immediately after closing. Inside storage is simple and effective. The exterior is pleasingly ordinary. If it continues to work like it has initially it will have been an exceptional buy.

Great size, everything is easily accessible and more visible than the chest type. It fits exactly where we wanted it in the laundry room and is very quiet, got up to temperature quickly and so far is exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect size for a second freezer. Compact size. Efficient. Quiet. Great price. Only gave 4 stars because we haven’t had it very long and I don’t know the longevity.

We really like the freezer. We like it being upright. It is easy to organize and is also a space saver. You hardly know it's there as quiet as it runs. We have yet to defrost it, but anticipate it being easier than one we had before which had coils on the inside under the shelves. Value for the price I would say is unbeatable. And time will tell as to its durability. For now I'll have to give it fives.

We pulled up in front of Best Buy. I Just had the Best Buy guys load it in the back of the truck. Very fast and courteous. It is pick up only. Got home and wheeled it in. My son and daughter and myself excitedly opened the box. The outside looked excellent but when we opened the door the temperature adjuster was hanging by the wires. It looks as if one side of the plastic bracket was broken at assembly and it was just sent through. Since I drove from New Mexico to Texas to pick this up it is not possible to return unless it just doesn’t temperature adjust. I am also disappointed that it is a Refriderator that must be defrosted every few months. I didn’t think they still made ones like this. That is my bad for not reading closely enough. Shelves look nice. Looks like there should be a drawer in the bottom but not in box, so it just looks like it’s missing a drawer. It is so light, when you pull on the door the whole freezer must be held to keep it from falling on you. You need 3 hands to get this right. Price great if this works. Poor assembly Too light. Dangerous Defrost ridiculous The look is beautiful Great size. Not too big not too small Shelves are very nice looking, slightly adjustable But bottom looks like it’s missing a drawer

So far, so good! We had a chest freezer in the garage, in Florida, which did not last long. We were looking for a small upright freezer that would allow us to actually see what we had. This is perfect for us and allows us a shelf for every kind of meat we eat along with veggies and bread. Great item for a great price! Not even sure how Best Buy came to us but we are pleased with our purchase and with customer service!

Exactly what I was looking for. Used for extra milk storage for the newborn weeks. Small;compact and easy set up. I read the reviews to not put at max cooling and it has worked just fine thus far.

Such a great freezer! We wanted an affordable stand up freezer (moving from a chest freezer because it was hard to keep track of everything in there). This freezer works really well and makes organization so much easier. It’s a fantastic economic freezer option for storage in the garage.

This freezer is the perfect size. I can easily move the shelving around to fit my needs, easy to keep clean and maintain as well. definitely thinking about purchasing a second unit.

Excellent size for small family. Most upright freezers this size don’t have movable shelves. This one does a plus for this one and why I decided to purchase.

Haven't really had this freezer long enough to review it, but so far, no real complaints, though I shudder at the idea of defrosting it without any kind of plug or tray for water. Is it normal for a freezer to be defrosted by putting a pot of water inside it, and placing a towel around the bottom of it on the floor to catch the dripping water? Sounds primitive to me. Other than that, I miss the shelves in the door of my old slightly larger Magic Chef, no longer in production. It's narrower, though, and less deep, which is nice. I could do without glass shelves, which I think are unnecessary. Wire is just fine for frozen food. Price was a factor in my choice, as well as the lousy reviews of the Frigidaire that was its only close competitor. I'm hoping for a long and pleasant relationship with this freezer.

I’ve had the freezer for several months now and it is amazing! Just the right size for the garage. It keeps everything perfect. So helpful that you can see everything. Certainly worth it!

Had the freezer for 2 months Works! It is quiet. Convenient shelfs. It would have been nice to have buskets or extra few shelfs. Hope it lasts!

Overall, the freezer works well, is quiet, and serves its purpose as a secondary freezer. However, the freezer arrived with a couple of scratches on the back and a dent on the top edge in the back. The box was not damaged, so it looks like the freezer was damaged before packaging. The temperature knob inside was not attached, so I had to move around the control panel that holds the switch (which was not firmly attached) and get it in the right place so I could reattach the knob. While none of these are big issues, it is not what I expect from a respectable brand.
