I am very satisfied with the freezer and the service of the syore during pick up.

Finally, found the upright freezer that fits our wants and needs.

Price point is good. Slightly disappointed with this unit. Came out of the box looking good. My issues are twofold: the shelves do not fit properly there is about a half an inch of play. If the shelves are off center from their supports it is possible for the shelf to actually fall down. My biggest issue is the temperature. I have to set the temperature adjusting dial to approximately 7:00 position in order to maintain 0°, which is the minimum acceptable temperature for deep freeze. To be clear this unit is kept inside the house which is generally between 75 and 78°. I have no idea how it would perform in a hot garage. I suspect not as well. I actually have two thermometers in the unit one is an analog Taylor and the other is an electronic. Both of them agree within two degrees of each other so it is not a question of the accuracy of the thermometers. I hesitate to run the freezer at a higher set point temperature. The good news is that it holds its set point extremely well with only one degree of variation over a 24-hour period if the freezer is left unopened. My older chest type freezer made by Insignia is much more efficient. The price point for the chest type and this upright is about the same. I needed an upright to fit into the space in my new house. Otherwise I would have kept the chest type. I've never had to turn it up past the 5:00 position to hold it at -10°.
