NOT COLD ENOUGH
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this freezer plugged in for two days now and by now it should be freezing cold enough inside. What I am finding is that it doesn't keep my ice cream cold enough and I can feel the ice cream getting soft in the container. I also tested it by placing a glass of water inside for four hours to see if the water becomes frozen. After four hours the water is cold but still in a liquid state when it should be solid ice. I did follow the instructions to let it sit upright unplugged for thirty minutes before plugging it in. Upon inspection after unboxing, there was no damage seen on the freezer. At this point, I may be returning the freezer if it's incapable of turning water into ice by the morning.

Not a fan

My freezer stopped working after about a year. I didn't know it until I smelled the foul odor of all of my most expensive meats rotting in a hot freezer.

Does Not Freeze!!!

After getting it home I let it stand upright for 5 days before plugging in. The freezer ran for 48 hours with only an ice tray inside that never froze. It is loud and sounded like it was struggling to function. After calling customer service I was left with the option to return it in person to the store. Its a 20 mile drive to the nearest Best Buy so 40 miles round trip times 2 trips 80 miles total plus time and gas involved. This was a complete waste of time, and poor customer service. No I do not recommend this product of Best Buy.

Worked 1 week! woo hoo
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As the title says, I bought this for my daughter, she filled it with food, and it worked one week before she found a puddle on the floor and all of her food thawed. Unfortunately she had several expensive salmon filets that were lost among other items. This was an expensive freezer full of food to loose.

3 FAILED ATTEMPTS TO PURCHASE - DESIGN FLAW

With the 2nd & 3rd, I was flabbergasted to find out that the shelves for this unit were made too small for the unit. Huh? They are too narrow for the front of the unit, so when they shift with any sort of weight on them, they would fall and break. Using glass isn't exactly smart to begin with. Will certainly not be purchasing this brand again with this level of QC and carelessness. The one positive is that the return process and BB representatives was hassle-free and everyone was very nice.

Does not cool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Unit on May 20, 2020, got delivered by Best Buy on May 22, 2020. The brought it upright, we kept it unplugged for 2 hrs and then plugged it in at Max setting so we can let it run for 24 hrs as indicated in a dedicated power socket. Went and did freezer groceries for over $450 and now stuck with meat and groceries which are going bad as the freezer is not freezing and everything is thawing out. Best Buy can't get anyone here before Wed May 27th to see if it can be repaired and there are no other units they can send. Need help or a replacement.

Broke within 3 weeks

The freezer started making a watery sound, and a couple of hours later, it had just completely stopped working. Not sure what is going on, but definitely not happy that it broke within a month. When it was working, it was great.. hopefully, someone can help me figure out how to fix it.

Do not buy! They dont last!

Gave out after 10 months.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It didn't get very cold, as I think freezers should be 0 degrees, but it only got to 10 degrees at the coldest setting. That wasn't the issue, though as we only had this unit for 10 months before it went out completely and lost about 80-90 dollars worth of food. It all melted and smelled horrible. Thankfully, Best Buy replaced it as it was under warranty, but we will see how this new GE chest freezer works (fingers crossed).

Horrible product and customer service

Best Buy customer service said that someone would be out on the 24th to evaluate it. The next day they called me and said that they weren’t coming out, and that I had to find a way to bring the freezer back to any location so that they can service it. When I drop it off, I’ll be dropping it off for a full refund, not to be fixed.
