I was searching for a freezer for several months now during this Pandemic. It looks like stocks are now coming through, because I'm noticing more and more. I preferred an upright over chest because of the ease of access and ease of manual defrosting. I would have preferred an auto-defrost but that would have been three hundred more! I'm not sure about the longevity of this brand but it seems like a relatively simple product, so I hope it lasts. It makes some gurgling sounds--nothing too loud when operating. The unit came packed well and unpacking was super-easy. I'm glad I'm able to store some chicken, turkey and vegetables so I don't need to go the store as often. This Insignia freezer is a great buy and value!

Bought this item because we were lacking some freezer space. So far it has satisfied our needs. There is no light on the inside but we are totally fine with it. Mine came hinged on the right side but it does come with the hardware to hinge it on the left. Deep enough to hold your standard frozen pizzas. If you enjoy going to Costco like we do, it houses plenty for us.

After driving 150 miles and plugging in freezer and not hearing it come on, YES I HAD MY HEARING AIDS ON, I thought what am I going to do with the extra food we brought, After a few minutes I reached in back and the compressor was warm, the freezer is WORKING. The freezer cooled quickly and I still have not heard it running. Great little freezer for our get away house.

Just what we needed very compact ......works great

Cools down quickly. Top shelf excellent for making ice cubes. Perfect for long term storage of bulk items; can take advantage of bulk sales. No handle on door; makes opening door a little difficult. Slowly got ice build up but opening almost as often as regular freezer. Great product to store extra frozen food; allows us to declutter daily freezer so we can find items easily.

Nice fridge with some minor issues. Shelves are a little too small for the ledges they rest on. The back is fine but one side of shelf is always off up front. I hope they don’t fall out. So far so good though. It stays cold and does its job.

We needed additional freezer space and this was perfect. We ordered online and picked it up curbside 1 hour later. When we got home, we plugged it in and waited about 2 hours until the temp was cold enough and then started moving some frozen stuff from our other refrigerator.

Freezer is really a good one, but received it with a dent in it! Ended up keeping it, but it seems to be a common problem with some of the freezers like this!

Works great! Nice small footprint but still stores a fair amount of foods with no issues. This is not a huge upright but works great for someone needing some extra storage. Only wish is that it had a light inside but otherwise highly
