This dehumidifier was exactly what I needed in a damp basement... it has changed the whole feel and smell of this space so much... the I now can use it as my man cave... If you need a good dehumidifier for a large space... you can't go wrong with this one...

My older dehumidifier broke down after 6 years. At first I wasn’t sure how this one is going to be but I am really glad that I bought it. The water tank is larger than the older one I had. So I don’t have to change it 2/3 time every day. I love this one

Very good energy effective humidifier.. My basement flooded and ruined my dehumidifier. This new purchase has been great dried out the basement like no other. Would strongly recommend to anyone, and I would buy this again if needed. Robert

if you've never used a dehumidifier, make sure you know what you're getting. I wanted to remove moisture in the air to decrease mold/mildew, and to make the air more pleasantly cool. And the machine does that. But the box itself also generates heat. So you need to keep that in mind.

Bought this on sale and got the extended warranty as it is typical for these....on average...to die in about a year when run 24/7/365. Price was right....as is warranty.

Great, collects water in the basement daily. You have to remove the water each night. It'll save us tons in avoiding mold and damage and makes the air quality better. The Insignia brand was affordable and great quality.

We purchased this dehumidifier for our large basement in the Midwest. For convenience, we ended up hooking a hose up to the dehumidifier for emptying. No issues, and we have used it a lot.

We needed a larger dehumidifier and this worked out just well for our rooms and being on wheels was an extra bonus. The electronic features are very user friendly and removing the water tank is a breeze.

It is replacing a model I bought at Menards. The off-brand offered features at a discount. It lasted less than 2 years. The Insignia is well constructed and well-designed. I am expecting great things.

product seems to be warmer than i thought it would be, this may not matter once the weather cools down. still getting used to using it. Humidity controls are unavailable when using turbo mode

The unit is large and does not roll easily from room to room. It’s quite difficult removing the drawer. It’s on two tracks which are plastic and do not seem to be very durable. When left on continuous mode, the unit completely fills in less than 24 hours. When trying to use the humidistat setting, part of the cycle is spent turning off which does not seem energy-efficient. It’s usually off less than a minute and then restarts. If the box had not come damaged so it cannot be lifted, I would’ve returned this. The vibration and noise are so loud that I cannot sleep with this on and the television volume has to go up by at least 10 points. I do not recommend this product.

Working great and my basement is dry within couple days... The smells of moisture is reduced also..: I highly recommending with this product ... but wait for sales like $60 off from Best buy.

The product works great. The lights on top are a little hard to see from across the room. The water drawer can get stuck a bit and needs to be removed and put in again.

Bought model because it was on sale at a great price compared to others at the time. It is working but have only had it a few weeks. Hopefully it has a longer life than the last one I had

The unit seems to function well, and is doing what it is supposed to as far as lowering the basement humidity. However, the controls seem to be difficult to navigate in that I’m not sure if the desired auto humidity is set properly.

Use this in a basement that is below grade. Works very well. It has a drain hose option on it that bypasses the holding tank which fills fast.

Bought to put in our new house and has helped a ton! Make sure to buy a long enough hose because the port on the back does not give much wiggle space for the hose to drain correctly.

I never imagined how humid our playroom was until I purchased this Insignia 70 pint dehumidifier. In just a few hours the container is full! So impressed with this product.
