The strap only has a small velcro part that makes it really hard to wrap around a cable without it slipping out. The tie doesn't even hold itself on the cable so if you let go it will just drop to the floor.

They stay on the cords so they don't get lost, and I don't have to use rubber bands or wrap the cord around itself and have a permanent curl. They're great, and I got a whole pack for a great price!

I like the hook-and-loop types over the nylon ones because you don't need clippers to cut them when it's time to reconfigure, and these are reasonably priced. The only improvement I can suggest is that they be packaged all one color instead of assorted.
