Using category 6 cable

I used the cat. 6 cable and all 100 Feet which showed no degradation on the length and it went through upstairs and all the way to the basement and outside addition and up through the floor. Once I plugged into the router, the connect came right up and it worked perfect. Cat. 6 is the best way to go if you use any gaming equipment. Do not use your own RJ-45 ends. Use the connectors that come with the cable.
