Terrific Surge Protector from Insignia
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Insignia 8 Outlet 1200 Joules Surge Protector is the only one I would buy and it suits my needs perfectly. With a $30,000 connected equipment guarantee and being UL certified, this is a surge protector I know I can trust. With 8 outlets (all grounded) and 4 of those being spaced out enough for larger block plugs, I have used 2 of these surge protectors for my multimedia center and I still have 4 empty outlets for later use. With the 6' cord, I can reach the wall outlet so easily. I so often have an issue where my surge protector cord is 3' long and it won't quite reach where I need it to go. Not with this one - this is the perfect length for me. The one missing item - USB ports. But then again, if that was really important to me for this particular use, I would have purchased one that had those. I would highly recommend this Insignia 8 Outlet 1200 Joules Surge Protector. Knowing I am safe and secure from power surges and with empty plugs for later system additions, I wouldn't choose anything else.
