Customers are saying
Customers value the 8-outlet surge protector for its affordability, functionality, and safety features. They appreciate the adequate number of outlets, especially the widely spaced ones that accommodate bulky plugs without blocking other ports. Customers also find comfort in the reliable surge protection it provides for their devices. While some wish it had USB ports and a longer cord, most agree that it works well and serves its purpose.

Outlet layout great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chose because of the layout of the plugs as some of our items have the larger piece at the end rather than the middle. In addition, I selected because of the surge protection. It does feature power indicator lights and on/off switch. I purchased as Deal of the Day item; that combined with the layout & surge protection led me to purchase this unit, the on/off switch a bonus.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came in clutch, it is doing exactly what it’s supposed to be doing. It helped me set up another computer station in my house for my fiancé to go to school while I game right next to her on my own pc.

Does the Job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good surge protector that hasn't given me any issues at all. The outer 4 plugs have some extra spacing, which is really nice and lets me plug in the bigger power bricks from my router and modem and still have access to the other outlets. The wall plug is straight, which isn't an issue for me, but something to be aware of if your outlet is behind a couch or something.

Terrific design for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike typical bar style protectors, this item spaces out half of the outlets. That gives you enough room for four big block adapter plugs that usually hog the whole protector. If you compare prices to similar units, you will definitely choose this one. It does not have phone plug outlets, but don't we all have enough of those anyway?

power strip
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as expected. Using for security camera setup. Powering banks of cameras. Perpendicular plugs works best for the large power dongles.

Quality Surge Protection
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having recently upgraded to a new 4K TV, the next logical thing to do was protect the investment with a multI outlet surge protector. Went with a quality TV and so bought a quality surge protector by Insignia. Reasonably priced and with great reviews.

Well designed 8 outlet surge protector black strip
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have far too many cords near my computer, so needed something with more sockets to handle all my cords for computers and devices. This works perfectly for me. I also has lights to show that sockets are grounding and protected, which is good touch. So far, I would buy it again. I've owned it about 1 month.

Useful surge protector at reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have electronics all over the house and barn, so I like to have surge protectors handy. I bought this one because of the price and the number of outlets. Since many of my electric toys have bigger plugs, the oversized spots are extremely handy. I have used this with everything from laptops, iPhones, sewing machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, and televisions.

Safer way to plug in all my devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a bunch of TV, DVD player, Roku Stream stick, cable box, etc etc to plug in and this Insignia 8-outlet surge protector gives me peace of mind to know it can handle all my devices. I recommend anyone who has a lot of plugs behind their TV's to consider this surge protector so that you don't have an overload or surge that causes damage to your stuff or home.

Basic Surge Protector strip
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what it is suppose to. The house has not burned down and my devices are powered on. I have not had anything to test it's surge protectorness.... but who wants to find out that the protector they got doesn't protect. I don't, so for now 5 Stars, as it is serving me well in my work from home space.

Big Power handler
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 AVR, TV, XBOX, and a SUBWOOFER plugged in to this outlet and oh man this outlet had no problem handling all that power. If it’s able to handle my stuff then it’ll definitely be more then enough for yours. For the price this was no disappointment I definitely recommend this outlet.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The spacing of the ports really helps if you are using power cables with big bricks on the end. I previously had an 8 port outlet but the outlets were too close together and I couldnt plugin everything. Now I have extra ports to spare.

More room between plugs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems like a solid basic power strip. It's kind of nice not to have all the plugs in a straight line. There's more room between plugs.

Great... with 2 personal issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it, good for the price. I only have 2 downsides to this; #1: Cable size from Surge Protector to wall is small, it could be longer. #2: On/Off switch is very, very easy to accidentally tap. I was shifting it around and had probabably turned it off 2-3 times. Other than that, it does the job and does it properly.

I like the two extra outlets.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always owned the usual straight six outlet surge protector and some power cords are so wide that they end up covering another outlet making it unusable. The Insignia 8-Outlet Surge Protector has a wide body with two rows of four outlets, two of which are spaced a bit further away from the other outlets. They are just what you need when you need to plug in one of those wide power cords.

Works as expected.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as expected. If I had to have a gripe, the power button sticks out a little much for me. Where I have it, if I pull on a cord wrong, the button hits the desk and turns off. First-world problems though.
