It does the job

I didn't need all the fancy things that you get from the higher prices brand. For just a basic use, it it what I was looking for.

It has worked well with everything that I have plugged into it. I haven't had any surges or power issues yet, so it is yet to be seen how it handles that. But so far so good.

Living in thunderstorm heavy locale; having a surge protector is essential for protection of your valuable electronics. No issues. Not 5 stars because would have liked the USB option.
