Seems like a solid basic power strip. It's kind of nice not to have all the plugs in a straight line. There's more room between plugs.

We have so many electronic products at home - iPads, iPhone, Laptops. So we set up an area for every one to charge their gadgets. Now everyone precisely knows where their favorite iPad or iPhone or LapTop. In the past every one was looking for their favorite Gadgets.

Recently ive gone through about 3 power strips. All were very cheap. But woth this product i havent tripped a single breaker on the boat it isninstalled on. Absolutely love it

I like the compact design and that it has 8 outlets. I have several models of Insignia surge protector strips and all are exceptional. I also like that the back of the unit provides areas for screws in the event I wish to mount the unit on the wall.

This came in extremely handy for dorm room use especially when they don't have alot of electrical outlets in older buildings. Students have so many items that have to be charged like laptops, printers, routers, phone chargers, etc. that need to be protected.

What can you really say about a Surge Protector? I do like it's design and its ability to "hold tight" the plugs I plug in it. So far, no burning smells, or other dangerous concerns. I keep my space heater plugged in 24/7, and that's what caused my last Surge Protector to almost blow up. So, this one is doing a great job, so far!

Love this! Has plenty of room if you have more than one of those bulky plugs. I dont have to worry about the power bar tipping over, stays flat.

Needed to find a power strip designed for large plugs and this is it! Other strips may have plenty of plugs but one of the large plugs takes up at least 2 slots. This one is designed so that there are 4 well-spaced places for the large plugs and then 4 more together for regular sized plugs. I bought 2 of them!

Best surge protector I’ve ever bought. Love how you can plug in anything and you don’t have to worry about not having enough room. Love the black color because it blends in so much better with my decor and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb like the standard white ones do. Will definitely be buying more!

This is a good surge protector. I especially like fact that the outlets are rotated 90 degrees so you can use all of the outlets when using bulky chargers for phones, kindle, ipad, etc. Other surge protectors you may only be able to use a total of three to four of the outlets. This one you can use ALL of the outlets. Well worth the purchase.

Bought two of these strips because the receptacle are offset allowing large ended plugs (A/D converters) to be connected without covering the adjacent open plugins. Allows me to fully utilize all receptacles eliminating the need for too many power strips. Good value for the price plus I used Best Buy bucks.

This is my second one of these. My first one is at my desk. This one is for my den electronics. I love the outlet spacing. I can put the larger adaptors separate from the smaller ones and be able to use all of the ports instead of 3-4 like traditional power strip.

I use surge protectors primarily for vintage gaming . This surge protector has adequate spacing for power bricks used on the NES , Genesis and PC Engine . It is high quality and very easy to use . I would highly recommend this product for the value and the quality .

Positioning of the outlets is very convenient: AC convertors don't crowd out additional plugins. I like that there is a rocker toggle for a reset. No USB ports, which is irrelevant to me. Nice surge protector.

Unlike most compact surge protectors, this one actually has enough space between the plugs to utilize every plug effectively. No more blocked outlets when you have a bulky transformer to plug in. It's a little pricy compared to others on the market, but it's worth it for a basic surge protector.

I've used insignia products for awhile.. during the latest thunderstorm, my previous insignia surge protector saved my sound system, Directv, bluray, and xbox, but I lost my tv. Home insurance took care of the tv. But the surge protector did its job for the most part.

Very easy to use, the wide proportion of the power strip makes it lie flat on the floor - not like the narrow strips that tend to wind up on their side from time to time. Good outlet layout, easy to place power supplies without blocking adjacent outlets. Sale price made it a no-brainer, this is a great product at a great price.

I bought this surge protector because the others I used didn’t have enough outlets. The spacing is good for larger plugs like the Nintendo Switch and streaming devices. I wouldn’t suggest leaving a lamp plugged into this one turned on for a long period of time. Mine got hot and tripped the breaker from the lamp. Other than that, it works properly. I would probably buy another one if I needed to.
