Needed a protector that could handle multiple large plugs. This one has the outlets nicely spaced allowing me to use all 8 outlets for my entertainment center.

Good deal. Works well for my tv/video equipment. Would like usb ports now.

this is second one purchased as we like to be protected. also it gives plenty of extra places for other things not just electronics that need protection. great quality and price is good.

I got this for my sister and she loves it. Most power strips don't let you use all the plugs if you ever use larger power supplies. This one has four that are separate. Everyone should make them that way!

I purchased this surge protector to make sure my audio system was protected, works well and looks good.

I thought this would be great for my daughter in her dorm room, where a surge protector was required. The orientation of the outlets allows plugging in several power supplies without blocking other outlets.

I wanted something a little better than your cheap powerstrip for my new tv and sound system and this fit the bill nicely. Plenty of outlets and spaced well so there is no problem plugging everything in.

Nice power strip. Works fine. I needed one that could handle all the outlets for my bedroom TV/blu-ray/clock/etc, since only one plug in the outlet is available and all that stuff is in the same place.

Lays flat and has room for bigger plugs. Much better than the basic strips that always flip on their side and don't let you use all of the outlets because they are too close together.

I cannot comment on the surge protection as I have not had it trip yet, but for the price this is a good power strip. I have been impressed with other Insignia products, so this is probably just as good.

Surge protector is still holding up and performing perfectly after 2 years of use. We live in Florida and have tons of thunderstorms and trust our computer to this surge protector.

If you're limited on outlets and have a bunch of electronics to protect, this is a great deal especially at half price. Surge protectors can be unreasonably expensive. It's basic but does the job well.

This surge protector is more compact because the plugs can be put on both sides and even today's larger plugs fit perfectly. I have determined I like this style much more than the standard long 8 outlet surge protector.

I was looking for an inexpensive strip outlet. Nothing fancy or complicated was necessary. This is doing the job.

I needed something with more room than the standard straight surge protector. The positioning of the outlets on all sides makes it easy to cover those big plugs and the little ones. Bought it on sale which made it even more fun.

Works well and it was reasonably prices. We have it mounted to the wall with screws and it has performed as well as can be expected. I like that there are some outlets with extra space for larger plugs.
