I purchased this surge protector on sale about a month ago and boy am l glad I did. Having just gone through a big storm a few hours ago at the time of this writing we lost power in my area due to lighting. It did it's job and all though I happened to be home this time. It gave me peace of mind knowing if I hadn't been the surge protector would have still kept my laptop and printer safe. Its cheap insurance compared to replacing hundreds of dollars worth of equipment .

I bought two of these for my home office, they work great, they are slim and compact. I really like how there are a few plugs placed strategically away from others so you can plug in your larger block plugs without blocking other outlets

Monsoon season hits us hard in Arizona! This outlet with surge protector is great to prevent your expensive electronics from being damage during untimely power outages! The cool thing about this one is that it also tells you if your power connection is grounded! Out home had old wiring and didn't show the grounded light on which prompted me to update my electrical boxes also otherwise I never would have known! Excellent product! Would totally recommend it!

It works perfect. I had a power surge one time and a lot of my house appliances had short circuited but all the ones that were plugged to this item didn't got replaced.

Works fine - great for the price. Future considerations... flat plug into wall, and some usb plugs, which this doesn't have either.

I lost three surge protectors in a recent power outage and subsequent restoration of power in my home office. I have a lot of computer equipment that needs protection, so I looked at several types of protectors. I chose this particular protector because of the receptacle outlets positions on the bar which easily allowed me to connect the AC plugs of different sizes. The other brands outlet positions were too close together to be able to use all the plug positions.

This little device has helped my electronics survive multiple power surges due to frequent thunderstorms in our area. Before I started putting these on my electronics, I could count on getting a new TV about every 15 months due to damage from surges. Now I just replace these about every two-three years, and all my electronics are fine.

2nd set. Did the work. I was able to mount it under my desk for cable management and I usally turn the switch off when im done with the pc. Great and worth the price. Recommend

I was pleasantly surprised on how well these were priced considering how good surge protectors can really get up there. The outlets are spaced well for power adapters vs standard cables and it's not too thick if you want to use it in an open area where you need to cable manage. I've not had any issues with any devices plugged in as of yet and will definitely purchase again.

So far it is working well. I have very limited electrical in my bootleg apartment, so I'm pleased to have this.

an amazing device, it takes one plug in and changes it to 8. I believe its some sort of dark magic being used to create an unholy, yet very handy device. it even has lights that tell you don't stick metal bits in the little slanty holes. which is very nice to know, as the ones on the wall lack this feature.

It's good I can plug everything I need to. I wish that the cable that plugged into the wall was flat. That way I can put my tables and stuff closer to the wall. That's the only downfall

Great eight outlet search protector. Dylan allows you to plug it up to eat different devices. I have my entire entertainment set up plugged in to the Surge Director. I’ve had in a while and very happy with it.

Sleek design. Though I was worried about its effectiveness because it felt so light, it did the job and protected my daughter's bearded dragon tank's lights and heater when we had a power surge. Thanks to this power strip, I didn't have to spend a few hundred on new lights and heater.

Ok, this is "just" a powerstrip, right? I like the fact right off the shelf, the electrical connectors in the plugs are solid, and I don't worry about my plugs falling out prematurely, like happens with other entry-level and inexpensive strips. I like how the plug bays are staggered, which makes it easier to plug a variety of adapters/devices/chargers without competing for the same space side-by-side. The black color is nice too, and matches most of my electronic décor.

I needed a surge with ample sockets since setting up my new work station at home. This one is perfect because some plugs, like our printer for example, have bulky heads so standard surges end up having you lose out on sockets since the larger head blocks the socket next to it. This surge was spaced out well enough to accommodate both bulky and regular sized plugs.

The Insignia outlet protects my my electronics; namely, TV, DVD player and sound bar. There have been power surges and these electronic devices were protected. I would recommend buying this power strip.

Tired of regular surge suppressor strips, that you can't fit all your cords on? Don't want to pay a lot of money for a GOOD one? Buy this one!! Great price, and accommodates my: Two laptops, Monitor, Printer, Powered speakers, Magic Jack, Casio Adding Machine, and my WiFi router. Lastly, seems every time I go to purchase something it ends up being made by Insignia (including my Insignia Roku TV). Great Quality!!

This product is spacious and I'm able to plug in all my devices worry-free. Does everything it says on the tin. Wouldn't mind paying a little less for an item like this.
