The HDMI cables were a great extra! Didn't think I would ever use them... but had a need for one of them shortly after the purchase. It's working fine also.

Don't know if I really needed the Ultra HD/HDR HDMI cables, or what those do for me, but this thing works well under my desk. Gone are the days where a weird-shaped Apple charger or cheap AC adaptor block off 2 plugs. It's a bit bulky, but Surge Protector. Gotta remember that good feature. It'd be perfect if it had USB cords and maybe slimmed down a teensy bit so it took up less space. But I'd recommend it! Got it on a great deal

I bought this just to have extra HDMI cables on hand in case of failure of the much more expensive Monster HDMI cables I have in use.
