I have this in my office and it’s great. I don’t play it at high volumes when folks are around, but if I’m alone I crank it and it performs swimmingly. Clear and defined sound with good low end.

Great sound and value! It looks great in my small space.

This radio has great sound and offers a cd function which some people do not need but my family does and was important to us. It is also modernized so we can listen to the music that is on our phones. It fits and looks perfectly on that small counter that is unused in the kitchen.

Wow, I love this audio system. I am so pleased. The sound is incredible, the tone right on. The sound gets better the louder you play it and it has a lot of power. The clarity is awesome. I would recommend this to anyone even if you are used to a high end system. This thing ROCKS!

I needed a playback unit fopr nuy,erous MP3 discs I have. My old CD player would play them but it gave up the ghost. After months opf searching I discovered this unit. It is easy to use, [t plays those discs and has surprisingly fine sound. Certainly a good purchase.

I was looking for a new blue tooth speaker for using at the job site and came across this , its not a battery powered speaker but its better and it sounds fantastic. It has a lot of inputs and you can't go wrong with this stereo. it uses 120 volt in so if you need a battery this isn't it .

I was impressed with the sound of this unit in the store and bringing it home on my book shelf it sounds even better. I love the classic minimal looks and can I say again the sound is amazing!! Really loud and clear!!

Bought this for my mom. We didn't want tons of bells and whistles, and this system is very straightforward with a complete but minimal set of controls. Speakers and sound quality is great.

Good sound and features for the price. Had a Bose Wave Radio and very disappointed with its quality. Sounded great but didn't last. This unit doesn't sound quite as good but it's 1/3 the price. Good features. I use the Bluetooth option frequently with my IPAD.

Bought this unit for my parents who were not ready to abandon their CDs and radio yet. They also had less space to work with than in the past. This unit fit the bill perfectly. It is stylish with both a modern or traditional decor. It doesn't have a bunch of annoying lights or gaudy nobs. The fact that the speakers are contained in the unit also means that you don't have to run a bunch of wire and hide a couple speakers. That brings me to the sound. I was worried that the speakers were going to lack bass and fullness, or that the volume wouldn't fill my parents spacious open floor plan adequately. The Insignia exceeded my expectations by a mile. The third speaker on the bottom of the unit puts out a decent amount of bass and volume is plenty for a large space. I will update this review if there are longevity issues, but it seems well built and simple enough to hold up.

I bought this Insignia stereo system because it was one of the very few plug-in (non-battery powered) audio devices that can play .mp3 files directly off of a USB drive. I had downloaded some podcasts that I usually listened to on the computer but sometimes I didn't want to be on the computer while listening. The audio quality is good. I guess a wooden cabinet, like old school speakers, has that effect? I'm not an audiophile so I don't really know about that, but the sound is good, even playing music. It plays FM stereo, CDs (can only load one at a time), .mp3 files off a USB drive, bluetooth, and it has a regular aux jack (the smaller size like a headphone jack, not a 1/4" jack). The one drawback is the size. It's bigger than I want it to be at 18.5" W x 11.25" D x 6.5" H.

It took a while to understand the minimalist operation of the radio but once I understood the operation it became clear that the builder went outside the box in designing the control system. The sound is also rich and clear. Great buy.

We love this system! No trouble with CD's loading or ejecting and the sound is great for this type system. We don't have anything to hook up the bluetooth to it, so I cannot comment on it, but the radio and CD player works great!

Great unit. Bought for my son to take to college. He was not very excited about it but once he set it he dared me to touch it. He said there was no way I was returning it. Sleek kinda retro look with all of today's features.

This is just what we were looking for our office. Great look and the sound is amazing. I can't believe how crisp the sound is from this all in one. Won't find a better value for your money.

Loved the retro look immediately, brought in my own CD disc to test...WOW, deep bass and clear distinct highs! Got a great price on it to and staff as usual were very helpful. Best Buy...MY Go To for ALL Electronics.

I needed a stereo for shop, couldn't beat the price. sound carries awesome. Guys like the BT mode for there own music. Wish sound was the same when you switch stuff from FM to BT to USB.

Saw this on display and played a cd on it before deciding to purchase . Very good clear sound . What I needed without setting up receiver and speakers. Was on sale 1/2 off which made it an easy decision . Similar product from technics is about 5 times as much

This insignia radio is really awesome it’s nice, simple design and great audio. Love all the extra features like the Bluetooth and cd reader.
