A: It does not have a bass, treble or loudness setting. It does have an equalizer with settings for Flat, Pop, Rock, Jazz and Classical. If the a system has decent fidelity, you won't need any of these things to make it sound good. A true High Fidelity system sounds fine without them. I've tried all the equalizer settings, turning it off (Flat mode) sounds great. At 20W per channel and 40W for the sub-woofer, you get enough power without the amplifiers getting saturated and clipping. Note, your average car stereo is 8 - 12 watts per channel. This should give you a sound density comparison.
A: Has FM but no AM. The sound is quite good but doesn't compare to a Bose, but neither does the price.
A: Technically you could add detachable speakers since it has headphone input.
A: No, you can not use bluetooth headphones with this.
A: The slot is in the front. This is perfect for the kitchen w/ great sound. It is the size of a stereo component.
A: The dimensions are correct, sometimes front to back is called width.
A: I had a similar problem. However when mine stopped subsequent CD's would be read and then the message "No CD" was displayed. It went on like that for every CD I put in. Took the player back and got a different one. Plugged it in at the store to test before I left. New player is working fine.
Q: Does it have a HD tuner or is it just regular FM?
A: Just regular FM.
