“Could someone please verify the actual dimensions for this unit? They state the following in the specifcations: Height 5.5 inches, Width 11.2 inches, Depth 18.5 inches. If you look at the photo of the unit, it clearly shows it is wider than the deeper.”

The dimensions are correct, sometimes front to back is called width.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Switch width and depth. It's wider than normal stereo components, which are a little over 17" generally, but it's about the same depth.
