Good sound quality, but poor cd controls.

Though the sound quality is good, the controls make listening to cd audiobooks difficult. 1) When placed on “pause”, it holds the place for only a short while, then turns off. My place in the book is lost. 2) Occasionally, the player just shuts off in the middle of the disc. Again, my place in the book is lost. 3) If there is a disc in the player when it shuts off, the disc cannot be ejected until after the machine greets you and reads the disc. 4) Fast forward and reverse are slow. I spend way too much time trying to find my place in the book. Shopping for a good audiobook CD player is extremely difficult, because on line descriptions do not cover how controls operate, and sales people don’t know. I’ll keep this player for my music, but I’m very disappointed. Customer service was no help.
