Sounds incredibly good for a bookshelf system! Was bigger than I thought at 5.5 inches high, 11.2 inches wide, and 18.5 inches deep, but not too big. Aux/CD/USB/BT/FM with 20W right, 20W left, 40W to the subwoofer, and it all sounds big. Volume levels go from 1-32, and I've only gone to 20, because it really is loud. Also I don't want to blow the speakers by pushing it too hard. My last small shelf system (Rockville), all of the sudden blew the left side, and subwoofer after 60 days of normal use, so I'm hoping this Insignia unit has better longevity. Will update rating if needed, but as it stands, 5 star sound. Five star features with all inputs including FM ( +antenna).

Got this to listen to cd its awesome for that but the Fm radio doesnt pick up well mayb an additional antenna may help

I needed a stereo to replace the cd/cassette boom box in my workshop. There isn't much out there anymore. This unit has a radio, cd player, usb port, line in jack and bluetooth. I use the usb input for all the music from my computer. I attached my AKAI cassette tape deck to the line jack and use the bluetooth for Pandora from my phone. It has all the connectivity I need. In addition to that, the sound is great for the price I paid ($100 on sale). The unit is compact in size, has a subwoofer and a remote control. Overall, I am very happy with this system.
