The lock on the door system makes sense for families with small children for us it is just something we have to press up so that it opens- People who have hand issues should choose another microwave. If we forget to use it, we sometimes almost pull the microwave off the shelf. has there been problems with opening the door that just opens without the step of pulling the trigger? thanks. Maggie

Good price, works for what I need

Just reheat and melt ingredients for cooking. I was going to buy a more expensive one, but they were out of stock. I thought I'd take a chance and buy the store brand. I've had two not-very-old higher end models die on me in 2 years, not in warranty. This way, there's not a large investment. Microwaves are not built like they used to. It does what I need. The way it opens, pushing a lever, is taking me time to get used to after years of a different system.
