We use a microwave mostly to heat coffee and tea, so we did not need any fancy buttons…. Of course, a bowl or plate faits in it as well if there is something to re-heat. The metal finish is very nice as well.

If we forget to use it, we sometimes almost pull the microwave off the shelf. has there been problems with opening the door that just opens without the step of pulling the trigger? thanks. Maggie

We've been using it nearly a month and it has been perfect for what we wanted/needed. I've never gotten Insignia brand before and was a bit hesitant, but i'm very glad we purchased it. was decently priced as well. Thanks Best Buy!

This one has been great. Works well no issues. One of the best things for me is when it's done it beeps once. My old microwave beeped like 5 times and you couldn't stop it. It was so annoying especially when your trying to be quiet. I would definitely recommend this

Other brands might have this feature, but it wasn't mentioned in the description. If it's like my similar Insignia it probably won't last but 2 or 3 years. The turn table is going out on it. The interior light is not as good on the newer model. Still it's working so far. Can only recommend if you don't have high expectations.
