It's nice that these two units are independent so there are no fights about which movie to watch if you only have two children. They hold up much better than the type with the player and "slave" projector that only play one movie, but don't let your kids try to touch them because brittle plastic is brittle plastic. Also a better mounting system than cheaper models. Beware as these will run down your car battery iif you leave the plugged in while you're at Disney World for a few days!

Great basic DVD players with several options for connection. Picture and sound quality is sufficient.

Bought this for my kids so they could each watch something different but also have the option to watch the same thing.

It works better than you think, but the wear/tear from being in a car takes it's toll in the long run. If you never by the protection plan (like me), this would be the one exception I would take the protection plan on.

Got it for my girls, they both can either watch the same movie or have 2 different ones playing.

Love these. We have had these for about 4 years. Haven’t had problems. Kids love them.

Like my last two portable DVD systems, this one had many flaws. The headrest mounts/straps are horrible. One of the two DVD players defaulted to a different region and couldn't be restored to region 1(USA). The buttons are cumbersome. You have to remove player from headrest mount to change dvds. I could go on and on. I returned it after a week. Good news is Best Buy is awesome and refunded me without issue.

For a long road trip with children of different ages, having two separate screens kept them all happy.

these have been great! we used them for a long road trip, about 12 hours and they worked wonderfully. after using them i did realize a that a remote control would be nice but it is not necessary. i like that each player can play something different, they do not have to be on the same movie. recommend.

We purchased these for our grandsons (2and 4years old) when we go on road trips. The reason for the 4 rather than 5 star rating is it’s kind of a hassle to change the dvd otherwise these do the job well

We bought this to replace an older portable DVD player that we've had for 9 years. It's more complicated to set up but mainly because it can play 2 DVD's at a time and our old one couldn't. There are also some features that this one doesn't have that I miss from my old one. It doesn't have a brightness adjustment so it's hard for the kids to see when the sun is shining in the car. Also, the screens on our old one swiveled up and down so smaller kids could see it easier when mounted on the headrest. This one doesn't move at all so it depends on how the headrest is shaped as to which direction the screen points.

This saved our sanity in the car with our 8 month old. Keeps entertained for most drives

I love how you can view two different movies at once. My kids don't have to agree on the same movie.
