It's kind of noisy and clunky mechanically but does the job. I'd love to see a version with enough battery power to last 2 movies.

Just the right size

It is the perfect size for me to have on my bed to watch a movie when I can't sleep. The sound is just right. Everything works just great on it. The screen size is just right for me as well. It doesn't take long at all to recharge after watching a movie. It would also be a great gift for anyone. I have no complaints.

Pulled into Best Buy and bought this off shelf... saved us! Only complaint is the screen is a little smaller than our old, even though the player is the same size. Other than that, we are very happy.

Insignia 9" Portable DVD

I also bought the mount that attaches to the headrest assembly mounts (silver poles that headrest sits on) I can plug the DVD into the cigarette lighter in the back of the center console. The speaker is ok and plays louder with some DVD's. I recommend buting an external speaker and plugging it into the earplug input on the side of the DVD player. I have a JBL flip and it works terrific and makes the DVD sound terrific. I mounted the external JBL Flip speaker under the DVD mount with black twist ties. The DVD has a nice clear 9" screen shich is a good size for the middle of the truck. Hope this post helps you make a good decision! Enjoy!
