Our vehicle broke down on vacation (it has a DVD player built in), and the vehicle we rented did not have a DVD player. So we bought two of these for our kids. They work great. They don't skip or freeze if they get moved or bumped, and the speakers work well also.

We were told it should be great for him, however, It has shown some lagging issues and a couple other things, but overall it has been what he expected at His age !
