This DVD player works well. I bought this for my 4 year old along with a holder.

I purchased two of these players- one as a gift, and another for myself. One had a screen that is far too loose, which I kept for myself. The other had a pivoting screen that was firm, which I gave away as the gift. Both units played DVDs flawlessly, and in this we were all pleased. When putting in a DVD full of Jpeg images for viewing, the player placed them into folders, according to resolution, it would seem. We could not view the pictures in numerical sequence. This was disappointing, since the images on that DVD were of the life of their son, from birth to now. The player scrambled the images up. Also, I did connect my player to my TV via the included adaptor cords. At first, it did not play, but after "jiggling" the plug a little, it worked. As for recommending this to someone- to play DVDs- yes, to view images on a DVD- no. My answer here would be to use a computer.

I have only used this player a few times so far. I couldnt give a true review. This is the third one i have purchased. They dont last more than 2 years. Originally They did not have the one i wanted in stock. The sales person was no help. He kept swinging his keys around it was very distracting. I asked him a few questons about the players. Silly me expecting him to know about the product that i was looking at. He had the look like he wanted to be somewhere else. When another customer came by & said he needed help i told him it was ok to go.
