Use on plane to pass the time. Good pic and easy to use.

Picture us one hour into a 14 hour trip with our new DVD player and enough DVD's to do the entire trip when the audio is so low no one can hear it! Even with head phones it was not loud enough. I returned it.

I'm not 100% sure whether the battery just won't charge and it's a battery problem or a charging cord problem or whether the whole unit is just a dud, but it stopped working after the first use. Once it ran out of battery, we couldn't get it to charge again.

screen of dvd player was very lose thought break off every time I used it. To adjust menu was very hard to get back to the movie. I gave up after 3 months and getta better dvd player.

Works great and got it for my autistic niece and she enjoys it.

Finicky when playing DVDs, it will play it sometimes, not others. The buttons may function like you would expect, but most of the time they do whatever they feel like. For example, pressing the stop button normally either fwds or pauses. The Play button brings up the settings menu (which you can't exit properly). It is highly annoying.

This is a wonderful product. Our youngest son used it while he was in the hospital

if this item were 10 or 20$$.. I MIGHT understand, but it didn't work properly as soon as I opened the box and it is cheaply made>> very light and thin body. Power cord is also cheap as it will heat up so watch out for fires. Returned it for a replacement, and THAT sucks as well>> machine freezes up, I have to close the 'door' just right in order for it to play and when it does play, if I move it then it turns off...

This units only good feature is that it looks good. I did not notice on box that there is no remote control. So unit has to be within reach to use controls. Moving unit to get to controls increases chance of disc scratching. This limits way to secure unit when traveling and still have in reach for controls. I played one disc for less then 5 minutes. I could hear noise with use. I became concerned about life of device before it broke or discs were scratched. The picture quality wasn't that good. The sound wasn't that good. So I am returning it.

There are several things I've had problems with on this product. First off while trying to pause or play the unit will stop skip or pull up the menu. If it does manage to pause it will stop the disc losing your place when you attempt to resume. It also seemed temperamental when it came to playing discs, deciding not to play certain ones.

Got this around Christmas time 2015. It is now dead as of July 2016. Will not purchase insignia brand again in a DVD player.
