Excited that there was still one available in stock at my local store so immediately purchased for in-store pickup. Works exactly as described no issues there. Unfortunately they must have given me a returned item as when I got home and opened the box there was only the pen and replacement nib. This was not marked as a used or discounted item. The usb charging cable and instruction booklet were missing so removed one star.

The Insignia Active Stylus is a fantastic and budget-friendly option for iPad users. It pairs instantly, feels comfortable in hand, and offers precise input—perfect for note-taking, drawing, or general navigation. The design is sleek, and the battery life is solid for regular use. I’ve been using it with my iPad Air and haven’t faced any lag or connectivity issues. For the price, it absolutely delivers great value and quality.

Works great! Love how easy it is to use. Wasn’t sure if I would use one enough to spend the money on the apple one. Got this one to test out. I don’t think I use it enough to buy the more expensive one since this works well for what I am doing.

This is the second stylus I've used with my iPad Pro; I've never used an genuine Apple Pencil because that price tag is too high. This Insignia Active Stylus is a great alternative. First, I love the simplicity in turning this device on and off, just two taps on top and you're off and running. The other pencil I used required additional steps to turn it on and to charge it. I'm not crazy about the battery life, as compared to my other second party pencil. However, unlike the other said pencil, this Insignia pencil charges much faster, so I'm back to tapping in no time. When I ordered this pencil, I didn't purchase the replacement tips right away in case I didn't like it, but after only a day of using it, I bought a pack of replacement tips post haste. This pencil is a great, less expensive alternative to the name brand version. I couldn't tell you if it's better or worse than the original, but I can't see the original being worth more than twice the cost of this product. Highly recommended.

This pen is a nice addition to my iPad and works easily via Bluetooth connection. Charges quickly with a standard USB – C plug. It fits my needs perfectly and a considerable class savings over an Apple brand it home.

Have not come across any technical issues with this product. So happy that I have it now and do not have to try drawing/ writing on prints with my finger. I AM STILL IRRITATED that I could not buy anything else because the link disappeared after that one purchase. Would have been thrilled to get multiple pens for Christmas/ birthday gifts... or a different item... But the Indian people on the customer service chat told me it was a one day only sale (regardless of the 08/31/2025 end date in the message)!!! And it took over an hour to get that out of them after being passed around between 4 CSRs. Still tempted to cancel my membership regardless of "the benefits", and return the headphones too.

Very durable, easy to charge and use 10/10. Honestly works better than Apple Pencil to me

I got this thing for half the price of the apple pencil and it works on each of my multigenerational ipads. Unless you need the fancy features that only a very neiche market I would stick to this guy you can give him multiple of these for the price of an Apple Pencil. No setup required works right out of the box.

I love it! I purchased it because I lost my Ipad pencil pro. I wish I found this item before I purchased the Ipad pencil. This is sooooo much better and I like the fact that you can save battery by turning it on and off without attaching it to my ipad. The only thing I don't like is that there isnt a cover for the charging port.

Works amazing. Haven't had any issues. Charge last forever! Prefer this over the Apple pen!

This pencil is very similar to the usb c apple pencil. I woukd recommend it if you dont have the budget for it. However i would say if you can just save for the better pencil go for that one because it will improve the experience by far. So either the gen 1 or gen 2 pencil woukd be great. If you have the newer ipad air or pro then you can buy the pro pencil. All in all, for the price its good enough.

Took me a minute to get it to connect but it works great and so much cheaper than the Apple brand. Highly recommend

The pen works fantastic. I bought it with my a16 iPad and it connected perfectly with no issues. Battery life is good but could be longer. And the size is not too large for my hands either.

It’s works quite well. I’ve had the Apple Pencil before and opted to go with a cheaper peripheral for drawing. Thus far this Insignia pencil is a like-for-like exact exchange, with one minor difference: you do have to use the USB-C cable to charge it vs. the magnetic dock. While the mag dock holds it in place very nicely, it doesn’t charge the non-Apple pencil.

Wonderful Pencil alternative that saves $$$ The magnetic compatibility with my iPad Pro 11 is wonderful! Easy to use, double tap to power on & off and easy LED light indicates charging status.

Really this was just a great price point and to anyone who didn’t want two spend Apple money I would say this is a great product and personally I don’t know what and Apple pence could really do differently than this one.
