Terrible experience. I've had this desk since August 2022, I don't put anything heavy on it and only put my laptop and one monitor on it. I don't sit on the desk and don't abuse the desk. Yet, the motor started malfunctioning all of a sudden and the desk refuses to move up. It will only move down. I called to try and get some help and all I was told was that the desk was out of warranty and anything to fix it or get a new one would come out of my own pocket, as if I have an extra $300 to just buy a new desk. It doesn't make sense that customers who don't abuse their desks and have the motors stop working have to suffer for the company's faulty manufacturing. The desk is less than 1.5 years old. I need to be able to move it up and down due to back problems. This is super frustrating. I was bounced around from Insignia to Geek Squad around 7 times with absolutely no real help and now I have nothing left but to use a faulty desk or pay for a potential expensive repair. When I finally agreed to have someone come and check out the desk, I was told by Insignia to talk to Geek Squad, and then Geek Squad told me they don't cover my product and told me to go back to Insignia. Now it doesn't look like anyone can fix the product so I'm not sure what they want me to do. I'm never purchasing from best buy or Insignia again. This was an extremely frustrating experience which is not surprising considering the amount of irritating experiences I've had with best buy. I was going to recommend this desk for a friend looking for one but that definitely won't happen anymore. Not sure what to even do now.

Was looking for a simple, sturdy, and inexpensive adjustable standing desk. Found it! And it was super easy to put together, too.

This is a nice desk but would not go up and down properly. Other reviews were great so guess I just got one that did not work right. Returned with no hassel.

We got this table .. set it to the height we needed it, no problem. A year later (today) we go to move the desk, and it goes down, but not back up. Trash.

Auto adjust stopped working for me after a month, got replacement from insignia with new one also same issue

Worked great at first, but now the desk will only go down and wont rise. This is such a heavy desk that its not worth the hassle to haul back to a store. If they could send a repkacement controller I believe the issue would be resovled.
