Yes, reception might be affected for some channels if the weather isn't favorable, but bad weather doesn't last forever, and it still doesn't beat not having to pay for cable channels you don't need or watch. Be open minded about where you place or the best position for the antenna. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and try it out.

My local channels, clear as could be, and I didn’t even have the antenna very high in the air.There were also some channels in between my locals that I didn’t know were there! Some of those had less than perfect signals, but several were clear and watchable! Nice addition to my streaming channels with my Roku.

We were concerned about reception but purchased this device for them and gave it a try. This was a great purchase. The staff at Best Buy could not be more helpful too. I highly recommend this product and Best Buy.

Just plug it in and then have the TV rescan for channels and there you go

Excellent Signal Reception

A few station signals found by the antenna are weak, but I assume the weakness is in the broadcast station signal and not in the antenna, because the antenna readily detects other stations broadcasting within the same distance.

When watching football games or any other programming the sound and video would be interrupted occasionally which was really annoying. I replaced that with this antenna and always have a clean signal with nearly zero interruptions. The only time there is an issue is during strong storms. I think the amplification makes a big difference. The flat design is easy to mount to the back of the TV stand and is not noticeable to TV viewers. Highly recommended.
