I bought a Best Buy shredder years ago and it's still working. I tried the same with the antenna. Insignia doesn't disappoint, It works great. I always look for Insignia when possible. Best Buy puts quality into their Insignia products.

It's definitely worth testing the device in various spots! Best positioning has been on a tall piece of furniture (about 5 ft high). across the room from a window. So far, the only time I get interference is when helicopters fly over.

We have a tv tower about 20 miles away so maybe that helps. Super thin, looks classy/easy to fit in with decor/style, lightweight so you can use double sided sticky stuff to mount it creatively.
