good for local news

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.was able to pick up 64 channels! pretty much got all local (austin/san antonio) news channels, except for KSAT but that's o.k since we pay more attention to austin news. it's been so cloudy lately, maybe when it clears up nicely I'll take the antenna into the solarium and get some rescans.

It found channels and they came in clearly. The only reason I'm returning it is because it did not bring in the number of channels it advertises. I feel this product would be perfect for city homes that are near the TV towers. I had a hard time in the suburbs getting all the main channels. It also took me a couple hours of scanning, moving the antenna, and rescanning to find the right spot that would bring in channels.
