However, if you don't position it in your lighter port exactly correctly, this charger's power blinks on and off. If you have the main cord plugged into your device, it is more reliable. If you have a device plugged in via the usb port, it is more likely to blink on and off, not really charging at all, only annoying you as your device alerts you as it goes in and out of charge mode.

Regardless if I use the charging cable or USB port to charge my phone, the charging will intermittently stop and restart. The second cable I purchased has worked better than the first but still does this. I’ll be looking for another charging cable for my car in the future.

The cord is way longer than it needs to be so i kept the little rubber band tie thing on it so it doesnt get wrapped around my shifter as im driving. I love that it has an open usb port to charge my ipod as well as my iphone when driving. That way i get the best of both worlds
