The cord right at the top where I would plug it into the phone slowly tore until the inside wires were exposed and eventually the charger just stopped working altogether. I would say I had it about a year

This one is great because it has the primary lightning charger PLUS a bonus USB port for a second lightning, or other type of charger like 30 pin or mini USB, etc.
