I'm really satisfied with this car charger. I pretty much have it plugged into my car at the time, and it charges very quickly.

This review is about the 5th time purchase of these Best Buy house brand "Insignia" iPhone car charger cables. I purchased 2 of these cables about 2 years ago for my teenage daughter and I. After about a year of non-abusive use, with no visible signs of wear, both cables failed to charge our iPhones within a week of each other. Unaware the other person's cable failed, we each went to Best Buy and purchased replacement cables. We each used the replacement cables (purchase 3 & 4) for about a year and just like with the first two cables, they each failed within a week of each other with no external signs of wear. My daughter returned to Best Buy Canoga Park with her failed cable and purchase receipt that she was careful to keep, hoping to make a warranty exchange. Instead she was told "Best Buy offers no warranty on our Insignia cables." Needing a charger cable for a Labor Day Weekend road trip she purchased this cable #5 on her way out of town. She then called me to share that Best Buy does not stand behind their cables. I went online and purchased equivalent products from that rain forest company, received same day delivery and spent about half of what Best Buy charges. We will compare how long cable #5 lasts compared to the non-Best Buy cable. If you decide to purchase these Insignia cables know they work great until they don't which will be in about one year and Best Buy won't stand behind their cable products when they fail, when many competitor cables come with lifetime warranties. I will take my failed cable back to Best Buy when I get the chance to see if I am treated better than my daughter and will update this review if I am.

It can charge iPhone 5 or 5s and charge a USB connected device at same time. I charge my iPhone and iPod while able to use both. Great value.

Great charger. Cord is strong and good length. Stays plugged into phone well. Has lasted longer than original one purchased at cell carrier.

I had to buy this when I upgraded from and iPhone 6 to the X as the amps must be weaker for older accessories. It functions properly but I just wish it was a little cheaper.

No need to fight over who can charge phone in the car! You both can ! Just grab a USB cable and you are ready to double charge !

All iPad owners know that they take longer to charge than the phones they companion, and I just don't like to wait. So when my iPad needs a boost, out to the car I go because this charger is a work horse, and make no bones about it, given the chance it will get the job done in a hurry. Quality build, the led's are appropriately dim, and the cable can survive a good thrashing from the car seat rails.

I purchase this charger because it has a connection to the phone as well as a USB port to charge an additional device. when you try using both charging ports it only charges one.

Great for I phone. Can charge 2 devices by using the USB outlet on top of this charger. Many other chargers only work with one device

It's durable and that's what inportant. Great to leave in your car and charge your iPad or iPhone. They USB port doesn't really work to we'll.
